I needed something for our outdoor yoga studio that would draw eyeballs, not offend or appear too commercial, have a low price, be large enough, yet light and easy to pack and store with no maintenance.I found this on Amazon and Eureka! It just seems to work and people like it. My wife hemmed the top and bottom so that we could run a small rope through to support it with poles and guy lines.I has held up really well and we get some really strong winds in our area. I have taken it down when it was too windy or in some cases, not even erected it.It helps to "claim" our area of the park for our purpose, which is yoga, while not really saying "stay out". In fact, it does seem to draw people in to check out what we are doing.Mandalas are traditionally designed for religious purposes. They are intended to gather and channel the focus of the viewer. According to Wikipedia : "In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of practitioners and adepts, as a spiritual guidance tool, for establishing a sacred space and as an aid to meditation and trance induction."It's also really pretty and did I say "people like it"?I would recommend this item and would buy it again.If this review helped you in any way, please click the "Helpful" link. LOVE this!! So many tapestrys I saw online were like $40+ and all the cheaper ones were ugly (in my opinion of course) or had terrible reviews so I was so happy when this arrived in the mail and looked exactly like it did online and was exactly what I wanted and for only like $10!! The colors are rich and vibrant, the tapestry itself is so big and I love the print. I did wash it before I hung it up because it had a slight smell to it and the smell is still there (but barely, only if you stick your face in it you can smell it) and after I took it out of the wash and hung it to air dry I found all these loose threads and a small rip in the top corner. Luckily I carefully trimmed the threads and tried to sew the top corner (I can't even sew so idk how I did it) and it doesn't look bad or noticeable. It makes me a little nervous to wash it again in case it'll fall apart even more but I mean it's inexpensive, gorgeous and goes perfect with my room so I'm okay with it.

Okay so, I've been burned by tapestry orders online in the past. I was really worried that this would be some cheap silky nonsense or that the colors or pattern would be screwed up. But! This might be my favorite tapestry ever. I hung it on a wall above my beanbag chair and it was heavy enough that it draped really nicely to the floor, but not too heavy to hold up with a few nails. It keeps the nook a little bit better insulated than before, because the material is a little thicker; think thin burlap, but somewhat softer, probably too thin to use as an actual blanket. The colors look perfect in daylight and by nighttime string lights; I ordered the "Red" with a red-and-orange pattern and its exactly what I wanted. I haven't had to wash it yet so I don't know how the dye holds up, but it is only properly visible from one side; the back is faded so the whole piece is one-sided. Overall its definitely worth the cheap price, and it's probably something I carry with me from apartment to apartment for a while!

I order them and use them as curtains in my game room and they are beautiful and keep the sun off us but… I ordered a rectangular one and got a round one delivered. Still beautiful though!

This is a VERY pretty tapestry. The colors are rich and vibrant. There was no odd dye smell but I did launder it with the others I bought at the same time. Its 100% cotton so when I washed and dried them they did shrink. The colors were just as vibrant as they were before laundering.I had made a kimono type jacket out of a left over tapestry from a previous project. We covered all the walls of a bedroom with them. My mother loved the kimono and asked for one for Christmas. I bought this one in the twin size version to fulfill that request. These being cotton they are actually very comfortable to wear as clothing.I quartered it to change the mandala pattern and lined with a flannel sheet for the extra warmth (she is always cold) cut to the same pattern and sewed it all back together.This fabric is awesome to work with. It cuts beautifully and cleanly. Irons nice and crisp and the more you use it wear and wash it the softer it gets.My mother is going to love her Christmas present! I can't wait to give it to her.

We like to cover our walls in color without actually painting them. This helped cover lots of white space with beautiful color. Recently I set it up to hang in front of my musical instruments so they aren't visible from outside our apartment, because even though they're so old and beat up that they're not worth buying, people still get funny ideas whenever they see a musical instrument in someone's home. Hanging this obscuring them has helped us keep a lower profile, because truth be told we don't have the money to replace even the instruments we've had the opportunity to rescue and repair. The fabric is much thicker and more durable than we had expected. Great buy if you like the pattern.
