I find they hold up decent, with sunscreen being the Achilles heel, it makes a real mess on them. I have had a few where the foam padding folds up inside, rendering it unwearable but thats extreme misuse.

Great quality vest, and fairly thin. That's the reason I purchased this particular vest. I didn't want a bulky vest for SUP. I wear a medium in just about everything, t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, etc. I ordered the medium of this vest and could not come close to zipping it, maybe 4-5 inches shy. NO kidding. I returned and order a Large, it almost doesn't zip, but if I pull on it hard, I can get it. It's very tight but it seems to be loosening up as I use it. If you buy this, choose at least one size larger, maybe two, or expect to return it like I did.
