Stretchy, soft, but definitely measure your couch first!
This is VERY stretchy and I would say also very durable too (overall). I measured the couch sections prior to ordering and knew that one side would be longer than the description/material said it could stretch to. So I pretty much knew what to expect, a potentially challenging time getting the fabric to cover one side, and I was right! One section was very easy to make fit on the couch. In fact there was even a little extra material to work with, everything tucked nicely. The second section, the larger section, was very difficult to work with and the material would not stay tucked, in fact would not tuck in at all, making it look like a sheet. The foam pieces were light and even on the other section with enough material and space would not really stay in place (when sitting and moving around). So, we decided to use a stapler, getting the material stapled to the wood frame of the couch, to get the material to stay in place. In a way I suppose I essentially reupholstered it, but it was the only way to get everything to really stay in place and not look like a sheet on the larger section. I mentioned overall durability earlier in the review because with using the staples, the tool jammed a couple points and hadn’t stuck to the wood, which in turn put a few holes in the fabric (understandable) but the remedy for that was just re-stapling the material in place which hid any mistakes in that regard. It was quite a process but worth it! The reason I was so determined to make it work was because we had a fake leather couch that was deteriorating, this covers that and turned out not too bad. Also, we started by aligning where the instructions suggested, finding the back of the couch, tucking where we could, and then flipping the couch sections over and we honestly used staples at the bottom too to get the fabric to stay on the bottom of the couch. The ties were useless for the larger couch we have, they didn’t really meet to tie anyway, and it created a sturdy foundation to work from, and left no drooping material under the couch. I will say despite being very stretchy (and we really pushed the limit on the fabric guidelines lol) it is just lightly opaque looking in some brighter lights, even on the couch section that had plenty of material to tuck in (which may be viewable through my review photos). Our couch is red underneath so I’m sure a darker or lighter neutral color wouldn’t be able to really be seen. But that’s nothing some pillows and blanket draping can’t hide. Overall awesome. My difficulties with the product were anticipated since the couch was longer than the recommended measurements/size. Definitely measure your couch sections before buying, and if you’re like me and want to try to make it work regardless or wing it, you can get crafty and bust out the stapler/tacker (obv that method works best if your couch also has a wood frame that you can feel/find to pin material to).

These are THE WORST!!!!
My boyfriend and I started putting these on our brand new Ashley Furniture sectional literally the exact thing that's pictured in the ad. After about 20 minutes of "Turn it this way...no line this edge with that corner.." two of our friends got in on the action because they were thinking that my man and I were just "messing around" ....30 minutes into THEM helping we took them completely off the couch. We all grabbed the respective corner accordingly and parachute lifted the cover over the entire one piece. We turned 30 degrees 12 times doing one complete full turn and NOT ONE ANGLE ALIGNED. So we switched the covers and did the same with the second one.. again not one angle we held the cover at, aligned. There's these tags that say "back" on them so we drug the Furniture MIDDLE OF THE ROOM and tried the same thing with the second couch. While one person held the tag to the back the other three maneuvered, and NOTHING WORKED.Now we are about one hour and thirty minutes into this, we are all sweating, starting to give up on life... and so we just found the most possible angle and shoved them on. They LOOK like I have two fitted sheets that don't even sort of fit, covering my gorgeous new couch.. my living room looks like a hillbilly sleep over but the couches are "covered".If my man's best friend ever meets the person who designed these, there might be an actual fist fight. These are NOT for the sectional in the picture, I don't even know what they are for but they will have to do I guess? So lame.
