Was very pleased with this cloth. It’s on the medium-weight side of cloth. I have used it for tablecloths, napkins, and tea towels. They are very soft but durable and absorbent. You’ll want to wash it first because the color and texture leave a bit to be desired straight out of the package, but that’s sort of linen in general. The more you was it, the softer it gets. If you were to make clothing out of this, it would be a bit see-through. But again, that’s linen (unless you get a heavy weight and then it’s probably going to be stuff and somewhat uncomfortable). You’d want multiple layers for making clothing. It’s a much better price than I’ve found for 100% linen anywhere else. Linen is generally very expensive. I’ve bought this again multiple times.

If you are looking for an alternative for rug hooking, this will work. The fabric is a little finer weave, so number 4 strips would work best. I am using number 6 strips. It does take more effort and a learning curve for poking and pulling.

Great price for actual linen. Great quality!

This fabric is way to rough for napkins or clothing......feels like canvas not linen.

I purchased this “linen” fabric for my shop. Anyone that knows 100% linen knows this not! Very disappointed and I will be returning it.

very poor quality, useless for garment construction, extremely rough texture, color was disgusting.
