KLENKAviation Snips RIGHT CUT, original SPUR handle MA70540

I purchase 4 different Klenk aviation snips On 4 separate transactions on Amazon. All 4 snips would not cut 18ga mild steel sheet metal properly. I compared them each to the old Weiss snips I have, and the force necessary to squeeze the new ones were twice the old snips, and the cut was jagged and distorted. I’m not sure what happened to the Klenk companies quality control, as these snips are all junk. I read the prior reviews warning of this, but I thought maybe it was a few isolated incidents, but no, those reviews were right on the mark. Save your time and find another brand.

I have been a roofing & gutter man for 21 years, I have tried just about every brand of snips available. The klenks are hands down better than any others- they stay sharp longer, they are designed and ground to allow tighter turning, the reds & greens ergonomic/spur model are easier on your wrist & fingers if you use them a lot. They are easily worth the few dollars extra over other brands.
