My son has very long dreadlocks and these work perfectly to hold his hair back out of his face. Very pleased with these. They are very stretchy and last quite a long time.If you have thick hair or dreadlocks, these will be perfect for you!I strongly recommend them!

Works very well even for my thick and curly tangley type hair. Never once did my hair get tangled in this and I couldn’t believe it. When using this product with any type of light color they will eventually need to be washed as they collect dirt.

These hair ties are soft, gentle and hold up my long hair in a ponytail nicely. I enjoy all the fun colors that gives me a lot to choose from to match them with my outfit or add as a contrasting color.This is also an update from the review of three years ago, I believe. I liked them so much I ordered two more sets as gifts for my nieces. They loved them. I had been wanting to order me another set recently. So I did. For some reason they sent me the smaller size bands and the colors were half vibrant and half neutral colors. I was very disappointed. I decided to keep them as the neutral colors will be fine for work and the band fits better on my wrist as my wrist is rather small. They hold my hair in place very well with no tightness or pinching.So I decided to reorder the vibrant colored package again. And thankfully the right ones came. I like having another set again. My first set of three years ago is doing fine and I only have lost one hairband. Yes, they do stretch out a bit after wearing them but that does not effect its ability to hold my hair in place all day with out cinching it up. It still wraps around the same amount of times. I never have to retighten or cinch up the band.I exercise at the gym with one on, I ride my bike, I clean all day, mow the yard and the hairband handles my hair just fine. My hair is long and is medium in thickness.I recommend them and am pleased with their performance.

I first bought hair ties from this brand 2 years back when my hair reached a few inches below waist length and I needed to start banding my hair to maintain it. The ties were much thicker and seemed to be a very heavy duty, sturdy elastic cloth material. But when I ordered them this time, they seem to be much lighter weight and not as thick and sturdy, so I’m not sure how long these will last. But so far they seem to be working out just fine. They seem to be able to hold my thick hair in place so I’m happy with the product.Ps. The last bands seemed to stretch out of shape after 15-30 uses when stretched 25% over its normal resting capacity. I also noticed that if you use oils on your hair and if they get wet the life span decreases quicker. So I hope these new ones will last a little longer.

Love these hair ties. Easy to use. Some hair ties are very tight, and break because I of that . Great for my long, curly, thick hair. Bought some more for my daughter.

I’ve been using these hair ties for 4-5 years now. I have thick-ish, straight hair and they hold up well. I go through them quickly because i leave them all over the place or keep spares in bags then lend them to people that need them. But i have never had to throw them away because they break. They do stretch out quite a bit but nothing another loop around my hair can’t fix. I like that they also don’t tug/snag your hair. Highly recommend purchasing.

These are comfortable to use for the most part, but they stretch out very quickly and after the 2nd day of use, I find myself having to wrap and twist them 5 or 6 times to actually have them hold my hair in place. Wish they didn't stretch out so quickly but they are soft and comfy.
