Beautiful colors and eye-catching design!
I bought this rug to go in my 2nd grade classroom library, or the “cozy corner” as my students call it. They loved the US map design! I also liked that this rug is not too thick, so we aren’t tripping on it, and that the rug stays put because of the no-slip backing.

We just received the rug so I'm not sure how it will hold up. We purchased it for the room our 2 young grandsons stay in when they visit. We purchased the 5 1/2 by 3 1/2 size which is not too big or too small. I saw a few 1 star reviews because of Mount Rushmore being pictured in N instead of S Dakota. However, the rug has very large colorful landmarks depicted for each state and a few do overlap because of the large graphics . I don't think it's so much of an inaccuracy as a trying to depict Mount Rushmore , a barn and corncob and Nebraska in about 7inches of space. S. Carolina's landmark, The Citadel extends into the Atlantic and overlaps a tiny bit of GA. When playing on the rug with the kiddos and reviewing, just say, S. Dakota, Mount Rushmore, South Carolina, Citadel or whatever. Back to basics, the colors are nice and bright and the rug was as pictured. Very happy and the grandchildren love it.

Thick, well-made, great rug of U.S. for kids
Really well-made colorful rug, perfect for kids learning the states and what is associated with each state (Georgia=peach, Texas=oil, jalapeno, Florida-alligators...).

Perfect for train set
I needed something for grandkids to set up a wooden train set so it wouldn't slide on the hard floor. This rug is perfect. It doesn't slide and isn't too thick so the tracks sit on it just fine. It isn't real big but good enough for the small set I have. My grandson liked driving the train around and stopping to visit the animals printed on the rug.
