this was a lot stronger than I expected, the hardware is pretty robust, and I think it should work perfectly for a bike carrier. it took longer to make sure I was mounting it in the center of the bumper than it did to actually install it.

Works well. Like most of these hitch receivers it has some play (loose). Overall it is sturdy and was pretty easy to install.

I used the BETOOLL Hitch Receiver Adapter to attach a bicycle carrier to the rear bumper of my camp trailer, It can be installed with a couple of adjustable crescent wrenches. I used a ratchet and socket set to make installation go faster.It is a sturdy item and has a nice, durable paint finish on it. I am very happy with this Hitch Receiver Adapter.

I added this to my camper's bumper and tried to hookup a bike rack to it. The bike rack would not slide in far enough to line up the holes for the pin. After inspecting the hitch, I noticed some uneven places that needed to be filed down. After a quick filing, I reinstalled and was able to fit the bike rack in far enough. It worked great on our first trip.

Great product. Fit perfect, had all the hardware, and easy to install. Looks like a quality piece for a good price.

I attached this to my bumper of my 32 ft travel trailer. Then I installed my Yakima bike rack. There is a pretty significant amount of jiggle in the rack just because of amount of play with the hitch and the bumper. I have it completely tightened, but I guess the metal still flexes enough to give play. It worked on my first trip.

Not all RV bumpers are built the same. I mounted it on a 4" square RV bumper but what I didn't realize is that the bumper was not welded lengthwise to make it a solid square tube. 4 kids bikes were enough to twist the bumper and leave the rack upright at a 45* angle. Check your bumper before installing. My Prowler bumper failed but a Coachmen bumper I looked at was fully welded and would be stronger.

I haven’t used this yet but I did mount to the bumper. I tried plugging a cargo carrier into it and had the same issue many reviewers have had. The carrier wouldn’t go in far enough because of poor craftsmanship. I had to file down a bump on the inside. Make sure to use an anti rattle device to eliminate movement when in use. I’ll be using this for a cargo carrier holding a generator. Keep in mind most bumpers are made with thin steel and are rated at 100lbs. I replaced my bumper with a much stronger one.
