Fantastic Upgrade — Spacious, Easy to Clean, and a Great Deal!
I already own the smaller Crock-Pot and absolutely love it, so this 6.5L version was the perfect step up for cooking larger meals and big cuts of meat. The removable ceramic bowl is super easy to clean, and the extra capacity means I can prep for gatherings or batch cooking without juggling portions.I purchased mine through Amazon Resale, which saved me a good chunk of money. The product itself was flawless—completely unused and spotless. The only thing “resale” about it was a bit of torn packaging, which didn’t bother me in the slightest. If you’re looking to save without sacrificing quality, I can’t recommend Amazon Resale enough.Perfect for busy days, family dinners, or just anyone who loves a no-fuss slow-cooked meal. Definitely a smart and satisfying purchase

Really Pleased - Highly Recommended
Really pleased. Just purchased 2 of this size. I already have larger versions of these and they are particularly good at making great curries using the cheaper cuts of meat. (Always turns out succulent and tasty). Or they make the best light and 'fluffy' rice (my other ways of making rice do not turn out 'well' at all). I will still use the larger size to do the rice. The Bay leaves, Cloves and Cardamom pods really infuse better with the 'slow' cook. Likewise if I'm making 'yellow' rice (just adding Turmeric) the longer cooking time allows me use use a bit less and it to really get into the rice - it's also a 'cinch' to add a little butter at the end of cooking. The slow cookers are also ideal for keeping what's left 'warm' in case anyone wants some more (they usually do). I do like to serve a variety of sauces, so I'm going to use the 2 smaller ones to do a different variety each in. Using the slow cookers gives me more time at the end of cooking and 'frees' me up to get some fresh chapattis or roti ready in the oven and fry-up some fresh crispy poppadoms on the hob. Highly recommended.

Recipe booklet missing
Why did you choose this product over others?:Well known brand that my family use. Unfortunately, the cooker arrived without the recipe booklet included so I don’t want to give it to my friend without it.

Great Cooker
Love it. I've currently got it with 4 lamb shoulders quietly cooking away to itself. I wish I'd bought one years ago. The lid fits, and the food is cooked and tastes so good, I can barely believe how great it is (the food, that is).I've run this using a pair of plug in electricity usage meters. I can't gaurantee they are accurate, but they both agree that the High setting is about 320-330 watts and the Low setting uses 220-230 watts. I think Warm was about 43 watts. The label on the cooker itself says 280 watts for Low and 300 for High. It's 6.5 litres, which people say is 'big'. I wish it were bigger personally. The unit is about as big as my round glass halogen oven, but the bowl capacity is a lot smaller. I can't get the same amount of food (well, meat) in. I'm not complaining though, the electricity costs are minimal and you can still get a lot in - like my 4 lamb shoulders which weigh 3.3 kg with the bones. They leave no room for more. One lucky feature are the 'run off' groves at the top of the bowl that let moisture from the lid back into the bowl. These allow me to insert a Therm Pro thermometer in the meat and take the long lead up and out of the bowl in one of the grooves. The upshot is that I can monitor the temp, and get that 90-95c ideal temperature for the meat without lifting the lid. The thermometer lead is thin enough not to push the lid up either.Yeah, I'm delighted with this. I'm aware that with every slow cooker review I've read, there are always a fair number of people for whom the oven doesn't work, is slower than 'slow' or the lid shatters or doesn't fit snugly. So far, this one's exceeding expectations for me. If I have problems I'll change this review to reflect them. It's got a two-year gaurantee, though, so that's reassuring.

Great tiny slow cooker
Not yet used this but have. Brought this size to fit my campervan - need a nice small sized slow cooker as space is at a premium. Can’t wait to try it out for a proper Sunday roast rather than buying pre cooked sliced beef. It is dinky at 1.8ltr but it will fit 2-3 chicken breasts, small joint but probably not a chicken. Our other larger cooker which we have had for years is the same brand so I’m expecting the quality to be great.
