I bought this wooden stand to stand my husband's acoustic guitar in the living room, where it usually stands against the wall. The parts of which the stand touches the guitar are all foam padded, so there is no worry at all about the actual stand scratching the guitar. I have seen some stands which lock the guitar into place, but for me the guitar is not there just to be on display, it's there to be nearby and handy enough to pick up and play as and when needed, so I personally do not think having it locked into place would be of any benefit in our house. This may, however, be something you need to consider, if you want a stand which locks to stop small kids messing about with it or knocking it over. By the way, we have two medium sized dogs and they've not knocked the guitar from the stand yet.We are very happy with this product and we are thinking of getting more for the other guitar players in our house because we love it so much. It looks good, too. I'm no expert, but it does appear to be very good quality and protects the guitar from sliding down the wall and getting scratched by providing it with stability and a place of its own to stand in the room on display for easy access.

Good looking product that displays my guitar nicely when not being played. It is sturdy and holds the guitar safely in position on the stand. Really pleased with the quality and looks of this product, and now my wife even allows me to keep my guitar on display downstairs in the lounge!!!

There's a few negative comments for these stands but over the last 2 years I've bought 6 and they're all FINE. These stands are sturdy, stable and to my taste look good. The hex nuts will need tightening from time to time of you're forever folding and unfolding them, but this is not unusual and it only takes a few seconds with the provided hex key.

Works perfectly...especially after I remembered to pull out the extra rear floor supports!! My Taylor GS stands stable and happy. It'd be nice to have a choice of wood colours, but you could easily stain the wood if you don't want pale oak colour. I tried three other stands before this one and they were either unstable or horribly made. This one is a keeper.

A stylish wooden guitar stand that is different and affordable to the standard black ones you see so often. The stand is also folds easily and compacts if you needed to transport. Please see attached pictures for reference. If you’re looking something a little different, but not too expensive, I highly recommend this item.
