Great scale. Very precise and large enough for a commercial size group handle / portafilter.

I was a bit skeptical about buying this due to some of the comments about the device. I have been using the scales since the first week in November 2018. My thought's so far from using them nearly ever day.I can fit my portafilter diagonally on the weighing scalesThe accuracy is vastly improved over my previous Salter weighing scalesThe display is clearThe device is solid and well madeI'm finding my coffee more consistent since using these scales due to accuracyNo issue with battery life yet

It’s ok, however, when you’re adding or taking little amounts, it doesn’t update quickly or at all. Not the end of the world, just wiggle the porta filter or press the scales. But I’d try a different model if not much more. Assume it’s accurate. Have no reason to think otherwise

We have been buying these case for last few years but last three of them had the same fault. Every time we went to change a battery, smoke started coming out of the scales and they ended up in the bin. Where first time we assumed it's just one of these faults, second and third time not so much. Today we threw away yet another one and we won't be buying this product again.

Gone through 4 of these in the last two years. Two of them would not work again after changing battery, and the other two just gave up very easily. Wont be buying again.
