I used this kit to make a some Lord of the Rings gummies from action figures and it worked great. Very easy to mix and pour. Recommend it.Tips for first timers:- the box you create around your object must be 100% waterproof or the silicone will soak through and leak out. Aluminium baking tins, Tupperware, and other food containers are great for this- get some light moulding clay to build around the object your are moulding. I used Chavant NSP light- you will want to brush a thin layer of mold releasing solution onto your object and the box your are pouring into so it is easy to demold after it sets.- beeswax is also great for keeping the silicone from sticking to anything. I painted a thin layer on between the two mold halves and they popped right apart.

I think as long as this product is $26.99 or less it's a good value. It is possible to get 5⭐ results from this mold making kit but there are no provided instructions to help you do that.As a first time mold maker, here is what I learned about let's resin translucent silicone mold mix:There are 3 key things to keep in mind1) this mold mix is temperature sensitive.* Your work space should be at least 70°F throughout the entire process (mixing, pouring, curing). I believe that cold air (>70°F) causes a sort of "cure inhibition" which results in tackiness even if you enclose your project.2) measure 1:1 by weight per instructions- I've seen people show they got good results by volume but I didn't try3) stir SLOWLY for 5 minutes*What do I mean by temperature sensitive? Well, after making about 7 molds I believe that the tackiness of the mold's underside (the part you cover while it's curing) depends on how warm the room is. I have 7 molds with varying tackiness with one mold not being tacky at all! 😄If your work space is at least 70°F for 24h (during the mixing, pouring, and curing) and if you've poured the correct ratio and you've the mixed product correctly, then you will have a mold that's NOT sticky on the bottom. That's my takeaway from experimenting with making 7 molds. Alternatively, you could experiment with using a heat mat or cure box. 🤔 Haven't tried.I think people are unhappy with the tackiness (most likely a result of improper mixing or too cold) AND how long it takes to cure. You should probably wait 24 hours to be safe, no less than 12, but check the status of your excess silicone in the mixing cup for reference. If you're trying to sell molds or you're in a hurry, buy a different product -I think it's called Mold Star (like 5 minute work time and demold in 30 minutes). I'm the kinda person that needs a longer work time.For the price, let's resin translucent silicone is great for hobbiests and anyone that wants to make their own molds for UV resin. Also take into consideration the material your master is made of, e.g. this platinum silicone may not be compatible with 3D printed masters?Overall, I'm happy with this product.✅It takes small details really well! (Notice the veins on the bee wings) I'm having so much enjoyment in making tiny UV resin bug charms!✅It self degassed so there are no bubbles in the molds or on the master if you pour slowly in a corner and let it self level.✅The translucency level is perfect for UV resin✅ You get allot of milage out of this (obviously depending on the size of your masters) . It's a good price for the amount - if it stays $26.99 or less.I do plan on buying this product again at some point.One last thing: don't throw away the excess silicone that cures at the bottom of your mixing cup. I haven't tried this yet but you cut it up to make inlays for your resin projects!!If this review was helpful for you please give a like.

This was the easiest of all my mold makers to use. The parts are different colors so you can see when it is fully mixed.Mixes easy, sets up quickly and was super easy to use!Make sure you tap out airbubbles!

This not stretchy really at all. I followed the directions, but still very hard. There were very few bubbles and I did not use vacuum. It was able capture the small details but it would only be a one time mold. For what you pay it works.

Product is easy to use that sets up fast and makes a great mold. I had never used it before and had a few problems but they were all mine. Make sure you have a leak proof mold to hold the product while you're making a mold. Otherwise I think it works great. I think it would be worth your while to invest in a pre-made box that they sell on here to pour your molds in I tried Legos and they leaked

These dinos didn’t turn out as great, because I took too long mixing color into each color and the resin was hot and starting to thicken as I poured it into the molds. Next time, I might use a pipette to squirt some into the smaller holes, maybe do one color at a time. The molds turned out perfectly, and detail is also perfect! I needed to do it with materials all ready, not looking for stirrers last minute like I was! This mold made something I couldn’t buy, so that makes for unique projects!

Having fun making custom moulds. Follow the directions! Make sure you have double faced tape, a glue gun to seal edges and a firm foundation for the resin and mould holder. My mould floated in the first try because it was so light. Taped it to the form on the second try and it was fine. Even though it says there is an odor- I didn't detect anything. Happy with the product.

Great product. I highly recommend it. I know other buyers are disappointed that it doesn't come with instructions and you have to visit their YouTube channel but they are trying to get views and I don't blame them. Buy the way I quite enjoy their Channel. However, it just a 1:1 ratio and mix thoroughly, super simple. I didn't use a scale. I just used a glass messuring cup and popsicle stick. Just a couple of tip. 1.If you use a glass cup don't try to wash it out just let it cure in the cup and it will peel right out. 2. I don't recommend scraping the container because you may get product that is not completely mixed and it could make sticky spots on your mold. Hope this helped & have fun.

Have tried a few other cheaper brands but there has always been a few bubbles ruining the mould on the intricate details. Not the case with let’s resin, not a bubble in sight, it’s worth the extra £.

When working with a 3d printer I'd say this material is a must have because you can create your own molds and it's allot of fun so I'm going to say for my uses (many) I'd say this has become my go to product but may need yo upgrade to the gallons :p

I was wrong, apparently measuring volumes also works. to the other person who complained about them being the same color, you can just add some color to one of the bottles.
