I bought this for my furbaby that was getting ready for puppies.. I know I needed a whelping box but I honestly couldn’t afford one.. after what felt like hours on here searching I debated between this cage and another one.. this one was a little bit more but I thought it would be better quality.. I mean it’s not terrible, have seen/had way worse, but it’s definitely not intended for bigger dogs.. my mama is content bc she’s got babies, and by the way the added pad definitely helped make it more sturdy.. it’s the side I was looking for, but I honestly thought I’d be able to add the bottom/top to the square cage, if I chose to put it in a square.. it only fits in a circle.. it’s fine for me either way but if you’re wanting a square with the bottom pad I wouldn’t order this one.. the bottom pad is heavy duty an better quality than I had originally expected it to be.. the cage itself is more flimsy.. if you’re going to use it outside (it has anchors to put in the ground) I’m sure it would be fine.. mine is inside so nowhere to really anchor it down too.. overall it was well worth the money and would recommend for anyone that cannot afford to buy a whelping box.. keep in mind—a whelping box has the guards around them to keep the mama from laying on her pups and killing them.. this one doesn’t have those.. if you’re concerned with that I wouldn’t buy it, I’d go with a whelping box.. especially if you’re not going to be home.. I don’t work so I’m here almost 24/7 and keep an eye on her and the pups..

I love that for the price it comes with a bottom cover which is very sturdy. They tried chewing on it and digging it out, it stayed put. It has velcro wraps around to hold it in place, also wraps up a couple inches. Since getting the babies a month ago they grown fast, and heavy. Even when they jump on the edge, it moves, looks like it will tip over but stays put. There isn't anything to hold it to the octagon shape. So once we came home and one section was pushed in. No harm to anything though. For the price (compared to other prices) it's a great buy. It's plenty big. Plenty useful. It has a door to open as well. So for my 10 week old babies now at 25 lbs (Doodles) it is still holding up!

Unfolded well, secured to ground easy. Made a circle easy. Metal rether flimsy. Then I tried to put the top on. Top well made, but dimentions were not same as cage. Did not fit. No matter how I turned or moved it around, it would not cover the pen. so I sent all back and bought another, sturdier pen, bought a tarp and sewed my own cover.

I chose the 30 inch panels which were WAY too big for a puppy, and it takes up my whole living room. I doubled up some panels and made it work. I don't know where it will fit when my dog is no longer a puppy. The bottom part is a lifesaver for me and is easy to clean. I wish I had this for the first 2 weeks I had the puppy, it was awful trying to keep her out from under the furniture. I'll pass it along to someone else when I'm finished with it because it's relatively sturdy for my small dog.

The size of the cage and put together is pretty good. However, my dogs grew very quickly and able to walk over the top of it. Because they use the horizontal piece as a step to get up and over. If it is standing by itself, it is also fairly wobbly, so you should have some sort of supports for it. The waterproof cover on that goes underneath the unit does not fit or match the size or dimensions at all. In order to make it fit, you have to shrink the size of the overall corral to make it fit inside and then the Velcro fasteners are on the inside, so if you have puppies, they are going to chew on that. so, all in all, not a perfect solution for what we needed but the dogs have grown and have outgrown this cage, so will use it for something else may be for camping.

High priced but it's worth it to not have to shampoo my carpet anymore. Wish it came with the top and the bottom considering the price but you can only choose one. Fits both my dogs and the pee doesn't soak through it just sits on top I recommend maybe a towel or something layered on the bottom

A little flimsy on the fencing but I was very pleasantly surprised on the quality of the top!!! Out ducklings are cat safe now! Menards 59" plastic kiddie pool fits like it was designed for it!!!
