These are brilliant!
I have three for various computers here. They don't just look stylish, but work well.Supplying power to the USB hub is (I feel) essential if you are plugging in hard drives. If you can supply power to drives externally you'll put less strain on your computer. Otherwise... during usage surges hard drives can lack sufficient power and may crash - right when they are in use. Not a good thing. This solves that problem. And even better - they are USB 3.2.

Needs to be powered to work
So I did not realise that this needs to be powered on in order to work - a lot of hubs don't have this requirement, and it caught me by surprise, but not a deal-breaker for me.It looks the part, feels well made and performs flawlessly, transfer speeds seem good too. Overall very happy.

Doesn't give the 10gbps it states - disappointing
I love the design and finish of this USB hub - also the convenience of a hub with 7 USB sockets, ideal for connecting a usb hard drives to my computer which only offers 4 usb sockets, some of which are used by mouse and keyboard. I purchased this to enable efficient data transfer between hard drives. The only disappointment I have is with the trasfer speeds - reading the information on Amazon, the suggestion is it offers 10 GBPS. To check this, I connected a brand new SSD drive which has a USB c (from the SSD) to USB A - direct to my computer USB A, and this was impressive with a transfer speed of 300 MB/SNext, I connected the USB hub to my computer, with the USB C to USB A adapter, and then connected the same SSD drive, and transferred the same video files, but could only achieve 39MB/S.In summary the look and style of the hub is excellent, BUT THE TRANSER SPEEDS / PERFORMANCE ARE SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THAN EXPECTED - SO DISAPPOINTING!For comparison, I used a standard USB hard drive and could only achieve 15 MB/S via USB hub VS 50 MB/S direct.

A neat little object.
Exactly as described, Attractive design, very stable on desk, robustly built. Functional and as decribed. Not the cheapest object to do the job, but I'm please with it

expensive but reliable
Orico is good manufacturer. Works fine for me, hard to find higher power supply USB hub. (not powered USB extension is rubbish even you connect to PC powered USB slot you need extra boost power for extension)

It's powered USB hub
I've completed this review as the star rating gets submitted before you get to the rest of the details. I've no idea why there is a 'Camera quality', 'Lightweight' or 'Versatility' feature associated with this product. The unit itself is compact, it does what it claims and seems to operate without significant temperature but I've only been running a single HDD from it. It's used with a Raspberry Pi and is fine. I'm not been able to establish the throughput with all ports filled. It's a little expensive for what it is.
