***Review update:as shown in the recent pictures, we are two weeks in of using the boot and it’s falling apart. The sides are ripping, the cloth cover on the sole of the boot is rubbing off and the seems on the back of the boot are falling off. Just as cheep as the one from the doctor and so overpriced. Praying I can keep it together for his last week in the cast.***Original review ***Obviously when you get a product like this it costs more than what it’s worth, but when you need it you need it! My son has a cast for 4 weeks and the cheep one from the doctors was falling apart after the first week and didn’t fit right so his heel was hanging off the back which comprises cast. Ironically this one is smaller than the smallest one at the doctors but fits him better. He wears a size 10 shoe.Since his cast is on the right foot I wish the straps didn’t end on the inner part of his foot and were on the outside of foot. Not crazy about the print but who honestly cares. I will agree with other reviews, it does seem more slippery on smooth floors than his other one so walking is more tricky. He’s got 3 more weeks in his cast, if this boot lasts that long then the purchase is worth it

Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old with a broken tibia. Stays on really well even on my active guy! He wears a shoe size 8, this was a bit big and has tripped him a few times with the toe overhang but mostly worked great. It’s winter and I can fit one of my husbands thick wool socks over the cast and under the shoe, even put it over his snowsuit with the bunting foot folded over his foot so we could go sledding today. I ordered the other small one with a child pattern off amazon and it was a bit smaller and the foot bed was the right size but the strap placement isn’t great and it wouldn’t stay on.

My daughter had minor foot surgery on the bottom of her foot. Not only was this shoe very cute with puppies, it also attracted a lot of attention in recovery and had a flood of nurses coming in to chat with my daughter about her lovely new shoe. It made the whole process much more easier to deal with and highly encouraged her to wear her new shoe when she at first didn't even want to touch it. It fit well for her 8.5 size shoe and would highly recommend.

My 4 year old fractured his leg and had a full leg cast. This was the smallest foot boot/shoe I could find at a good price. He wears a size 9/10 in regular shoes. This was a tad bit big fitting him shoe wise but the straps tighten over his cast to where he could walk fine and the shoe wouldn’t fall off. This worked great for the full 8 weeks with no problems at all. Very surprised at the quality!

Would not recommend for a clumsy child. The boot is very slick on laminate and tile floors. This can be a little dangerous for people that have broken a bone. The strap system could be better as well. Seems cheaply made and does not feel as if it will hold up to time
