Works beautifully. I prefer establishing a temp reading slower than 2 seconds but faster than the old mercury filled thermometers. This fits the bill.

Reads Temperature Eventually
I bought a couple of these. They will read out a temperature. However, maybe I do not understand how they work, because it seems to take an overly long time to read the temperature (in the several minute range) and will not beep, etc.
