Kadoya Pure Sesame Oil, 56-Ounce Cans (Pack of 2)

I loved the product, perfect quality as always, in the description states is pack of two same cans but only one arrived combined with another order I made on the same day so either something is wrong in description or delivery boys are repacking things how they please. Very not assured for this level of purchase.

A quality, great-tasting, value for money product. One little niggle: once the tin is opened, the cap no longer holds fast to the tin. The best solution is to decant some of it into a screw cap bottle, and place the cap back on the tin and hold in place with some adhesive tape.

This helped me save money a lot. Being Asian in London and cooking Asian dishes all the time I don't have to buy small bottles upon bottles of sesame oil. I just refill my bottles using this can. The taste is soooooooo good!

This does not compare to any of the alternatives sold by the supermarkets. The aroma and flavour are mellow, frank and complex, just like japanese food. Will not have any other.

I have been using this brand of sesame oil for a few years and it is one of the best that I have tried. But I received one can instead of pack of 2 as advertised. Very misleading. As this is food, I did not return the product. Be careful.

I bought this on Amazon since roasted sesame oilis sooo expensive in the local stores (IF I can even find it).This was not only a great deal, but the flavorand quality is unsurpassed. It smells deliciousand is great just drizzled on a salad or toast.I think that this particular brand is suppose tobe one of the best, most reputable ones.I highly recommend it and I think it will last me quite a while.My only complaint is that it was a little tricky trying tofigure out how to remove the cap and open it,but I just popped it off, filled a separate bottle for daily use,and popped the cap back on to reseal it.I will then refill the glass bottle I have as I need more.This should keep it much fresher in the metal tin.

well worth the price, same product is selling in the supermarket for $20 each. This is a super deal. Made in Japan, pure sesame seed oil, great flavor, can't beat it.

I am delighted to have a source of a larger quantity of un-toasted sesame oil than I was able to find in the grocery store. A screw-cap would be a very useful change to the design of the can. I could not open the can myself. I did not have the strength to press down on the center of the metal disk hard enough to break the seal, after removing the plastic retainer. My husband had to open the metal seal for me. Neither of us had the strength to force the metal seal back over the opening after the edge had spring out from the middle being pressed down. I placed the plastic liner of the metal seal over the opening, covered it with a double layer of plastic wrap, and secured that with a rubberband. I am refilling my small glass bottle from the can and using that bottle to dispense oil for cooking. The fragrance of the oil is delightful and the flavor is wonderful. I am not sorry that I bought this delicious oil, but I am puzzled how we were supposed to reseal the can as mentioned in other reviews.Edit 2022: The lid is easily placed back on the can if you first prepare the lid properly. Press with your thumbs in the middle while holding on the the edges with your fingers, until the lid snaps flat again. Now you can snap the lid back on the can. We have been using this oil all these years, but sadly it seems to be disappearing.

Possibly this is one of the best sesame oil in the market. We have used several different brands, from Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean. This one flavor is very pure and I can smell it from a distance.We use it for cooking, salad, sauce making and pasta, trust me, you can add this flavor almost everywhere and no need worry about ruin your dish.
