This product works very well as a starter fertilizer for new small to medium sized plants such as flowers, herbs and vegetables. If you use as directed it won't burn the delicate young roots of these plants. Kelp meal is an organic product and can be used as a conitinuing plant food also. This brand has a pleasant, mild odor unlike fish-based fertilizers. I have used this Kelp meal when planting from larger pots also. I do use a specialized fertilizer when starting my tomatoes but wouldn't hesitate to use Kelp meal if I had none of the specialized product left.

Easy to use. Sprinkle it in my pots, raised beds etc and plant my vegetables. I water it in with fish emulsion and that is it. Looking forward to seeing how everything does but if it is as good as said I will be using this in my garden yearly.

Product delivers great results in a very short period of time. Used on seedlings and had great results with strong dark green shoots. For seedlings followed the guide of 1 table spoon per gallon of water steeped like tea for 2 days then filtered.

This stuff is strong! A little goes a long way. I had to edit my review. I added a bit too much to my plant and it didn't seem to like that. I cut back to a teaspoon per gallon of soil and that did the trick. I plan to try it as a foliar spray and give it to my worms so they can compost it directly into the castings to release all those nutrients and growth hormones.

We have an expensive ornamental tree that is trying to die. The nursery who sold us the tree said this was our best bet at reviving it to good health. It worked.

The Kelp Meal I ordered arrived promptly and in perfect condition. It was exactly what I needed to amend my garden soil. When I'm ready to plant, I know everything will grow well as this product always performs!

I highly recommend this! It revived our pale, spindly tomatoes and peppers. Within a week, their color was back and they had new blooms on them.

I think adding kelp meal, especially to mountain soils away from the coast, is absolutely vital to home gardeners to replenish depleted soils. Like most kelp, this smells strongly of the ocean, and I've used kelp for soil and food animal dietary needs for many years. It's a great way to add iodine to your diet relatively safely.

Used this for my seedlings, and had the best crop to date. I am using this now in my compost tea and has made a great addition to it. I will be purchasing again.

A small amount goes a long way, lasted me over year and still enjoy this organic alternative. Plants are happy and healthy so am I.
