My husband has used various mouth guards for kickboxing, and his familiar having used OPRO mouth guards before. We were open to getting the youth versions in anticipation of our little son’s use. He is 6 years old and very active. Every season he gets to try a new activity or sport. We followed the simple instructions and custom fit him with the OPRO Silver Youth version and it’s every bit as good in terms of comfort and fit. The construction feels good and trust it will protect our son’s teeth if he takes impact to the face.

Fit and Comfort:I've gone through quite a few mouthguards in my years of training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and I have to say, this one has really impressed me. The fit is snug but still allows me to breathe and talk without feeling like I'm choking on it, which is a big plus during intense rolling sessions. The boiling and molding process can be tricky with some mouthguards, but I found this one to be easier to shape, providing a pretty solid fit. It’s comfortable and sturdy, even during longer training sessions.Durability:I've been using this mouthguard for a while now, and it’s held up well through plenty of grappling sessions. However, I did notice that after a few intense sessions, the color started to fade a bit around the edges. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but something to keep in mind if you care about the aesthetics. That said, the overall durability is great—no issues with it losing its shape or effectiveness.Overall Performance:This mouthguard has definitely changed my game in BJJ. It’s secure without being bulky, and I can go through a whole training session without feeling uncomfortable. I also appreciate that it doesn’t have that chemical taste some other mouthguards leave behind. While it might not be perfect, especially with the slight color fading, it's definitely one of the better options I’ve tried, and I’ll likely stick with it for future training.Final Thoughts:If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable mouthguard for BJJ, this one is a solid choice. Just make sure you take your time with the molding process to get the best fit possible.

This mouth guard works really well. It's easy to mold and fits my mouth good. It's not too bulky and fits comfortably.

We've tried this product for a young adult that does taekwondo and it takes time to adjust to it. It's pretty thick and the grooves make it a little difficult and uncomfortable to use compared to a mouthguard without grooves. I can definitely see this providing "best" inclass type of protection for your mouth given how thick it is.

This mouthguard has the same issues as most of the mouthguards that require of water heating to give them the shape, they are not accurate enough. So this one will work but it wont fit perfectly in your mouth unless you are lucky or you know very well how to do the shaping process. I wont use them in a fight, just for soft training.

We have purchased multiple mouth guards throughout the last 10 years for our 3 kids, each of whom have been playing sports that require mouth guards for many seasons. We happened upon OPRO mouth guards a few years ago and now we only will buy OPRO guards as they are well made, comfortable to wear, and reasonably priced. This one was immediately scooped up by our 14-year old who started playing flag football this Summer, and she not only loves it, but most of her teammates now have OPRO mouth guards as they loved the color and comfort of this one in particular. Definitely a great brand and a great product! So glad we found OPRO..so much better than swoosh guards!! Hope this helps other parents trying to find the best mouth guard for their teenagers.

Bought this as thought it would be a step up from last years mouthguard. Followed the instructions to the letter but the fitting is very loose and not suitable for my 9 year old.Waste of money and repurchasing the old brand.
