There's a lot to like about this kit. It's got a nice variety of colors, there's lots of stencils and applicators, and there's enhancements like gems and glitter. It was very easy to add a couple drops of water to the paint to get it to the right consistency and once applied it dried quickly and didn't smudge. I dabbed the glitter onto the paint while still wet and it stayed fairly well. I wasn't impressed with the 4 color split cake; it seemed to be a different type than the water activated colors, almost like a grease paint, and it was hard to get it on the sponge (it just wanted to push out of the container) and it went on very light and didn't seem like it wanted to set so I ended up wiping it off so it wouldn't smear everywhere. I'm sure there are techniques to make it work better but for me the split cake doesn't add any value to the set.The other colors though were nice and vibrant and were easy to use and it was fun trying the stencils, they worked better than I expected. My kid has been raving about face painting after getting it done at a Renaissance faire so this kit is a big hit. After having it on for 5 or 6 hours my kid had no negative reactions to the paint and is already asking about using the kit for upcoming birthdays. Good thing I have a willing subject to practice on to get better at freehand designs (and stencils to fall back on when it's not working out)!

As a face paint set, this worked better than I expected and includes a good variety of things to get you started. The paints are brighter than I thought water based ones would be, though it does depend how much water you use; you don't need a lot, just enough to wet the brush. I like that you get bigger pots of black, white, and red because I've bought individuals of those for Halloween makeup. The stencils are stickers, but sturdier, so you actually can reuse them, and I'm so glad they're included because they're a great and easy way to start. The glitter and gems are nice bonus embellishments.My kids and their friend (ages 9 and 4) used this completely on their own and were able to do some great pictures with the stencils and freehand. The paints also came off easily with micellar water makeup remover. So it is a good starter set, but at $25, it's definitely overpriced. The paints come in a cheap plastic tray in a cardboard box. It would be nicer if there was a case or a better way to store it. There are also no instructions or any face painting ideas included. With the current 50% coupon, that seems more reasonable.

This set came with everything mentioned in the listing and looks exactly as pictured. HOWEVER, there is no ingredient list anywhere. There are some poorly-translated (but decipherable) instructions on the back, but no ingredients. The front of the package says the paints are water based, and it says to add water to use the paints. However, they *feel* oil-based. You can use them with a sponge without adding water, and in fact they are brighter and more opaque without adding water. So mostly I'm just confused and feel like the information provided by the packaging is incomplete or possibly misleading. However, they do dry quickly and stay on pretty well (with or without applying them with water).

If your little one wants their face painted then this kit is a must have. Going to amusement parks and over paying for a face painting is no more. This kit has all you need to paint your kids face. It even has stencils to make little decorations on their face. Of course if you are not the greatest artist you probably should not be painting on your kids face. But there are plenty of tutorials out there that will help you paint whatever you want on their faces. The paint comes off easily and does not stain clothes if it gets on their clothes. You get a good amount of colors and tools to do the paintings. You even get some gems and glitter to finish off your new face painting masterpiece. If you are looking to start a face painting side gig or just want a cheap way to entertain your little ones, this kit is for you.

This 31 PCS Face Paint Kit for Kids is going to be fun for all of the kiddos on Easter! I used to paint faces at craft fairs, and it was so much fun. This is just a basic set that include a couple of glitters, but it only has Christmas and Halloween stencil designs, which is a bit of a letdown, since they are long past.I'm pretty good at painting basic designs, so it would have been nice to get a better assortment of stencils. It does come with a couple of brushes, some other applicators, and a sheet of face gems, so that is a plus.You will likely want to find some other paint brushes in different shapes and sizes, as the included ones are a bit limiting. Other than that, it will suffice for a fun activity to do with little ones. Not a professional set, by no means, but for fun or practice, I would recommend it.

I guess this is an okay set, but it would have been nice to have had a bigger variety of stencils. Most all the stencils are Christmas or Halloween themed. I wish it would have included the dinosaur stencil that is pictured. There was only one sheet of stencils that was not Christmas or Halloween themed. I think it would have been more fun using the stencils, but your options are very limited. Would be a good kit to use for a Halloween or Christmas party.

Pleasantly surprised to say the least! A nice array of colors with everything you need! The kit includes small stencils and gems for an extra sparkle! I am not nearly as talented as my daughter, but I had my granddaughters faces painted 1-2-3. Of course, I couldn’t create the characters they wanted, but they were happy being a cat and a dog for today!I first skin tested it on myself and their arms for sensitivity. All was fine, so we moved forward. The best part was that it washed off easily! It was nice that the colors stayed vibrant even when applied.I would purchase again!!
