Stood up well to wind and rain
I bought the green version of this gazebo to use while camping in the Isle of Wight during the first two weeks of August. Twenty-four hours after I put it up, a rainstorm hit the island and continued on and off for the next day (August 1st/2nd 2016). As you can imagine, I was worried in winds gusting up to 40mph and spent much of the first night peeking through the window of our (leaking) tent and expecting to see the gazebo blown across the campsite. However, I needn’t have worried. Although severely buffeted and visibly swaying, it sustained no damage, apart from one dislodged velcro tab, which I easily stitched back on the next day. There were two main reasons why the gazebo stood up so well to the wind and rain. Firstly, it is a well-designed and robust product. If you erect it as instructed (including the wind braces, corner pegs and guy ropes) it will serve you well. Secondly, I had the foresight to add extra four extra guy ropes, one at each corner, before the wind got up. This helped to keep it secure. On reflection, I would also recommend tying extra guy ropes to the middle sections of the roof frame if you think it is going to be windy – one for each sideA third factor was that I had all four sides connected and zipped up. This prevented the full force of the wind getting under the roof section and lifting it off. Even with the sides attached and zipped up the gazebo is well-enough ventilated to allow air to pass in through the gaps on one side and then out at the other, which prevents too much pressure building up on the exterior.Having passed the test of wind and rain, the gazebo subsequently provided excellent shade when the sun came out. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. I have read a few other reviews that speak of damage in relatively light winds. I can only assume these users did not have the gazebo properly secured, because my experience has been very positive.

I purchased this Gazebo last May 2017! and it is still up. I live up North, UK and it has been tested to the max...how many storms have we had!! I can't fault this product!! It was blown to the side twice and has gone back up no trouble. Had some amazing parties and we kitted it out with lights and it looked great :) Shame I didn't take any pictures at night but I was to busy partying. Make sure you apply some extra weights and you will be fine. Great value for money!

Great gazebo
I wanted something more substantial than the plastic style gazebo to act as a winter workshop. Delivery was almost immediate (less than 24 hours) and the gazebo was what i was hoping it would be. Easy to put up, took two of us less than 30 mins. It's not clear from the pictures, but the legs have a plastic attachment to either drive ground pegs into, or large turboscrews of putting this on decking. 4 guy ropes help secure the corners, and this one comes with two storm bars that you attach across the upper frame - fine for a 5'10" person to walk under without bumping your head...and they provide a handy rail to hang lights from. It's been up a week, no leaks, no problems. The zips are a little light-weight, but expected for the money.

Provided some nice cover for my garden party
Easy to put up, nice compact storage, and provided some nicer cover during a garden party I recently threw. I bought it mostly because I feared rain, but as it didn't rain I can't attest to how waterproof it is. I did like the fact that it comes with weight packs which let you weigh down each leg with two 2l drink bottles - I didn't want to have to fix it permanently to my decking so that was a good solution.Others have said it doesn't hold up to winds - I can't attest to that as there was very little wind during my party and I've only used it once so far, but in the conditions in which I used it it seemed pretty stable, and I didn't feel the need to install the provided wind bars.I also haven't tried using the side panels, but, well, they're side panels. Unless they're full of holes there's not much that can go wrong there.Took two of us about 20-30 mins to put up for the first time, but I suspect I'll half that next time now that I know how to do it.
