Not for a lake/pier use
Bought this to put on our pier and know the lake temp (a floating pool one would float away). It fell in the water in minutes then the screen filled with water and fogged up. Now it is in a drawer and I just take it outside if I’m I’m really curious

No power button
Really cute and a nice size, but you can’t turn it off so I couldn’t use it

Well it works, once it gets over 130 degrees the screen tends to show the whole number grid, so its sorta difficult to decipher the temp but you can still see the temp if you hold it right, overall it serves its purpose and the price is cheap.
