These are exactly as advertised - I wish I'd bought them with my Maxwell headset instead of waiting for my original earpads to wear out.They are cooler, better at isolating environmental sound, and just generally higher quality. I find them equally comfortable - just had to adjust the headband a bit. Super easy to install also.

These are a great alternative to the original ear cups, and are really comfortable. They also block sound a lot more than the original ear cups, which can be a con or pro depending on the person.Depth:The depth of the earcups make these really comfortable. They feel really nice and my ears don't touch the headphone at all compared to the original ones.Comfort:They do feel a tad bit nicer than the original earcup, but it all depends on the person. I personally love them and had them for a few months now. It's a nice aesthetic addition to the headphones too!Quality:For the price, the quality is expected to be great, and I agree that it's great. No complaints here.Weight:I personally don't feel a difference with these on or off, but they do seem to help with headphone fatigue.Ending remarks:I like these a lot, but I don't know if the switch is for you. I definitely feel like the highs with these earcups to be less noticeable. But I really like the depth these earcups bring.

the ones that came with the maxwell were to soft and after you add some body heat to them they lose there support and my ears started to touch inside of the headphone ..so i got these they are thicker and feel better and keep my ears cooler ..i do notice a sight more bass in some music and source . they are worth it just buy them

I was ready to crown them a 5-star upgrade and call it a day.But then I hit a snag that NOBODY in the other reviews seemed to mention: these earpads don’t just tweak the sound signature... they flip it upside down, shake it around, and hand it back to you with a “good luck.”Pros:•Cooling gel: Keeps your ears cool for extended periods of time.•Spacious fit: Finally, your ears get the room they deserve. It's an amazing feel to not have your ears being touched.•Memory foam comfort: Like wrapping your head in a cloud.•Retro-inspired look: Subtle but stylish.Cons:1) The sound signature gets a dramatic overhaul. It’s totally fixable with custom EQ adjustments, but if you’re not ready to dive into settings, the difference will hit you like a truck.2) They are BIG. I love these earpads, they comfortable and look awesome. I love them so much I bought one set for each one of my units, a total of 3 sets. I would definitely recommend to anyone on the fence.

If you have the maxwells and they pinch your ear these are a must have!! It also helped a bit with comfortability and the pads themselves are actually cold.-Overall if the stock pinch your ears these will solve that issue!
