I was shopping on amazon to find a brush to apply my bronzer. i stumbled on this brush because it looked like it is what i'm looking for with half the price of the sigma brush. so for 14$ i thought what the heck, worth a shot. I ordered it knowing that it is not in stock and that it would be available 5 days later.it took more than 5 days for the brush to be available, so as a form of apology, Beauty Junkees sent me a free mini round kabuki, which is a tiny version of the round kabuki, but used to apply concealer in hard to reach areas. well, how thoughtful of them to send me this? plus, they were so efficient in sending updates regularly by email to let me know what is happening with my order. so my review on their quality of service is 5 stars!now my review on the actual round kabuki brush. like i said, i was looking for a brush to apply bronzer in the hollow of my cheeks. and i need something stiff and dense, but soft enough to apply bronzing powder. well, this brush absolutely did what i was hoping it would do.... it is large enough to apply the bronzer in a natural line, but not too large to make it look like i have an orange cloud on half of my face. so the size is absolutely perfect to apply bronzer or natural contouring. it is dense so that you can press as hard or as lightly as u want to get the efect you're looking for. and add to that it is just so soft :)i know this brush can also be used for foundation, but i have not tried it yet.in terms of shedding, i literally was pulling on the hairs, and none came out. of course i have to keep in mind that i only have this brush for a week, so maybe this wont be the case forever, but i hope it will benow, my review on the mini kabuki round brush isn't as positive (but of course i'm not gonna complain because i received it free of charge). when i opened the package, i pulled the brush by its head, only to realize that the wooden handle was left behind in the package. the metal part was disconnected from the wooden handle. so i guess the quality of the glue used is not optimum. so when i got home, i crazy-glued it back together, and then washed it when it dried. then, the next day i tried it, and i absolutely love it. again, no shedding whatsoever, it is dense and perfectly rounded to apply concealer under the eyes, especially in the inner corner, and on the whole lid. i really love this brush, if it wasnt broken it would have been perfect.i will keep using my round kabuki everyday as i am doing now, and if it stays as perfect as it is now, i will order the flat top kabuki for foundation.overall, i'm very happy with this purchase and with the customer service of Beauty Junkees.p.s. i also love the bumper sticker that came with the brush that says "you are beautiful". it is so cute, i stuck in on my laptop

I needed a new brush for my RSC powder foundation after I ruined my favorite one I had for years! 🥺 It's hard to find a NICE kabuki brush with a long handle like I had! I figured I'd try this one and actually works great! So soft and blends my powder in perfectly! You could use this for cheek blush too. Highly recommend!

I bought this brush to use with mineral powder foundation and it had some definite plusses - the bristles are thick and luxurious, the brush handle is well made and feels substantial, it gets a lot of make-up on your face. In fact, I felt like it got a little bit too much make-up on my face because of how dense the bristles are. The bristles were too concentrated for my taste and it didn't have as nice of bristle movement as I buffed in the make-up as I would like. I don't know how it would work with liquid, I only used it for powder. I also bought the Beauty Junkee's Flat Top Kabuki, and I love it!!! It has all the same good features of this brush, but the bristles are a little less dense and so it feels smoother when buffing, and it's easier to clean. Really great brushes overall though! Will buy from Beauty Junkees again for sure!

I have acne prone skin and just started my Master's program and have limited time to wash my brushes. Being acne prone, I can't afford to put foundation on my face with a dirty brush. I had bought this same brush last year and loved it for my liquid foundation. A couple of months later, I purchased another one. With my busy present circumstance, I went back in my orders to order 2 more of these brushes.It comes nicely packaged in it's own product ziplock back which includes product description as well as other brushes that the company provides (I have a contour and highlighter brush from them).The brush itself is not too hard or too soft. It's perfectly dense and wonderful for liquid foundation to provide a nice airbrush look with correct application. After applying my foundation with this brush, I use a loose powder to buffer in my skin and set my foundation. The brush is easy to clean and does not shed. I presently own a total of four and am planning to buy more because I use foundation everyday and will only use clean brushes. I highly recommend this product and compare it to the Sigma brushes at a more affordable price. I will continue to buy from this company.

I use this brush with a powder foundation. With a kabuki brush, like this, you get medium to full coverage (depending on how much you buff), not sheer. If you want sheer coverage, get a powder brush with looser bristles. But this is a very solid foundation brush for medium to full coverage. Extremely soft bristles. The brush can hold a good amount of powder, and the bristles are dense so it doesn't just dump it on your face, it releases it evenly, so it's easy to buff it out evenly over your entire face. I use it with bare minerals. I swish the powder around on the lid, and the brush takes up all the powder, then I tap the brush to get rid of excess, then I pat it onto my face in several different places, and then start buffing. It works really well and makes application a no-hassle experience.

What I love about this brush is that the dense bristles the grip powder nicely so you don't waste any in the sink. And, the bristles are soft!I like this brush so much that I ordered a second one right away.

I cleaned prior to first use as stated in packaging instructions. Let dry over night before use. Can visibly see bristles coming through top after use. It gets the job done and feels good on my skin. Will use until I can’t. Despite it all, I would buy again just because it’s affordable and it works.
