I was imprinted by my mom and her female friends, who set lavish and whimsical tables growing up. Now I use novelty items--like these decrative lights to make even everyday dining special.I especially use a variety of portable lights when dining outside at night during warm months.

In addition to being cute for ambiance lighting, they're also really useful as portable night-lights. I always take one with me when I travel so I can find the way to the bathroom in an unfamiliar hotel room without waking my partner. They're also great if you need to grab a glass of water in the middle of the night but don't want to blind yourself with a big light (lol). You get the charm of walking through a house with a Victorian candlestick, and the safety of the fact that there's no real fire involved. XDI got the warm white color, and indeed it's plenty bright to use like a lamp at night, and you can dim it down to be more like 2-3 lumens. The battery life is great, and the charging base has its own battery, so you can charge the lights and the base, and be good to go for a long time!I love these, and have already had a friend order them based on seeing mine.

This is a really cool idea, but it fails in practice. I keep my office dim, and I thought I would occasionally spread them about when I needed more light but didn't want the glaring overheads. These are just too weak. Less illumination than a good candle. If it was even just 30% brighter or more, it would have been perfect. People come in the office and ask what it is, and I show them what it is and how it charges, and everyone thinks it's super neat but when they see the actual illumination they add they all agree it is too weak to be effective.

Creates great ambiance. They can be used individually or stacked. I recommend. Ordered too many.

Great little lites, charges and bill in dimmer.

I bought these lights maybe two months ago and they have been working fine and appeared to hold a charge for a long while. However when it came time to charge them I placed them as instructed and left the room. It was a few hours later when I heard a whooshing and cracking sound and then my bedroom alarm went off. One of the lights exploded and melted the charging base filling the room with smoke. I would not recommend this product and hope that my situation is rare.
