Incorrect product dimensions - but excellent customer service
Update: Ekkogo customer service reached out explaining that there was an issue with some existing stock and are working with me to get the correct tiles shipped out. Excellent customer service for sure! I'll update again once we receive the new tiles. As I had previously mentioned, the product is of good quality and looks great, so based on their customer service I'm bumping my review to four stars.I ordered four colors of this product hoping to create a sound dampened accent wall in my office. The 70's Orange, Cloud Gray, Pebbel Gray, and Deep Black were all true-ish to the advertised dimensions of 10"x12". It's a bit unclear from the product pictures, but the tiles should be 12"x10" from where the beveled edge starts. In reality, these were 11.5"x10", BUT they were consistent for all of the colors listed above. I then ordered a package of Dark Gray tiles, and started to plan out the pattern on the wall only to discover gaps. After measuring the Dark Gray tiles, they are 12"x10.5"... making them useless to create a seamless pattern.I returned the first set of Dark Gray tiles hoping for a replacement that was the correct size. Unfortunately, the replacement was the same size and again could not be used. I don't know if this was a bad batch and I got a replacement from the same stock, or if the Dark Gray was somehow cut incorrectly. In either case, I can't use these to complete the project. I'd happily give five stars if these were the correct size - they are lightweight, feel well put together, and the colors look great.

A Bit off…
I bought three colors. The light blue is the larger of the three. I made my pattern template with that one and then filled in from there. I don't mind the small gaps though it would be an even cleaner look without the spaces. They should come with the double sided tape though, I had to buy it separately and thought it would have since it mentions mounting them that way. Buy only one color if you don't want the space!

These damp the sound
I like the color and size and I knew before purchasing that these will tamp down the sound to prevent the reverb effect from the walls. I have deadened the sound in the recording room. no adhesion but i just used a small nail on each one. would buy again. The marron color also looks nice. Good product.

Perfect But Imperfect Squares
I love the color and look on the wall. However, because I had a case with 60 that had adhesive and need only like 5 extra squares, I should have read whether or not this package of 12 had adhesive on the back of the squares.I was able to make it work by using adhesive glue to have the wall I was going for in the first place. Nice and Perfect. Giving the 4 1/2 stars.

Barn Quilt Design Wall
Combining my love of barn quilts with my need for a large design wall… BAM!This is the first thing I see every time I walk into my quilt studio. I either see my size HUGE barn quilt or a quilt I’m working on. LIFE IS GOOD!A quilt design wall is normally covered with flannel. Quilt blocks in progress can easily stick to the wall without using pins because of the gripping power of flannel. The problem with a flannel design wall is it's always covered with stray threads.Using acoustical tiles as my design wall, I knew I'd have to use pins. I'm A-ok with that. Since the tiles are made of dense material, I chose these pins to mount my quilt blocks: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VXN77S6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1These acoustical tiles are very easy to cut. Since the pattern I created requires a bunch of half-square triangles, all I used was a long ruler and a box cutter. I made my cut on the backs of the tiles as the front of the tiles have a clean beveled edge I wanted to preserve. Once the acoustical tiles are cut, I used 2-way tape to mount to the wall:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09MLRHC8M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1The hardest part of this project is settling on the star I wanted to create and choosing the color. I'm absolutely giddy about this project turned out. I love the multiple functions of this barn quilt design wall. Rustic art. Sound absorbing. Functional wall. Just pure joy! I have some extra tiles, another wall and a whole bunch of imagination. The possibilities are endless!
