Good product protects hoop well very pleased

Not quite wide enough for my premier signia drum hoop, so I had to re bend it. My fault as it says Pearl protector.

Fits my gretsch renown a treat

Good product, fits perfectly on the kick drum hoop and protects against scratches, although I don't use the tape or screw and it still holds great.

Does what it's supposed to do once you get it attached to the hoop. The tiny screw provided is an absolute joke. Don't try to use it unless you have predrilled a pilot hole or it will snap off in an instant as soon as you try to screw it in. I ended up using a slightly larger screw to make it work.Other than that it works fine.

I purchased this hoop protector, because on my session custom kit this protector was already on it and it works wonderfully. The reason I had to give this item 4 stars was because my item did not come with the small screw to attach the hoop protector to the hoop, so I had to go out to menards and buy a tiny wood screw.

Screwed right into my Spaun set and keeps my dw5000s from scuffing. Also a lot less slippage during shows. Had a 4 hour gig and I only adjusted once. Usually its once an hour. Well worth the price.

I attempted to use the screw supplied with this and the head stripped out almost immediately. The metal piece is a pretty snug fit so I"m hoping it just stays on. the grip paper supplied doesn't even fit either. They should just make it so that the metal is held on by the adjacent tension rod clamps. That would accomplish 2 things: 1) you wouldn't have to screw into the bass drum hoop and 2) it would be easy to remove.
