Pretty good
I've purchased these as a test because the bigger name brands are quite expensive. I've been happy with the Belkin Wemos, but you get two of these for about the same price as one of those. Setup after installing the App was easy. They work well with Alexa and I can group these plugs into various "groups" or "scenes" along with the Belkins that I already own and control everything by voice, or thru the Alexa App.Minus 1/2 star - I don't like the large size of the LED on the front of these. They are bright! It illuminates Red when the switch is ON and Blue when the switch is OFF. In a darkened bedroom at night the blue light is distracting for someone like me that likes it dark. Yes it can be taped over with some electrical tape but the Belkin's got this right by having a small LED illuminated when the device is ON and nothing illuminated when the device is OFF.Minus 1 1/2 stars - The Energy monitoring feature stopped working on one of these in less than one day of usage. I did not exceed the maximum rating printed on the device. I tried restoring the defaults and resetting it, but the energy function is still dead on the one.Overall, I'm satisfied as long as these continue to perform their primary function of turning things off and on remotely. The energy usage feature is a nice add on but I'm not convinced of its reliability. I'll update if the other fails to perform this function.Update: The color of the LED is Purple when the device is ON. I stated inaccurately above that it was Red.

Great smart outlet! Informative App!
These outlets are wonderful. I bought two of these outlets specifically for two space heaters. Space heaters highest wattage allowed is 1500 Watts. Your home has 120 Volts. So the amount of amps you are supposed to draw for a 1500 Watt heater (a heater set on high) is 12.5 Amps (120V x 12.5A = 1500W). You'll notice as you shop around that smart outlets are mostly rated at 10 Amps. This one is rated 15 Amps which is why I bought it. If you're only using this for a lamp, it's no big deal. If you're using a smart outlet for high current draw (like a space heater). Find one like this one that allows 15A. A couple more bucks for a 15A outlet vs a 10A outlet is well worth not having your house burn down. Also, I love the app. It's like a Kill-O-Watt device for free. In other words, it tells you in real time the amount of Watts and volts going to your heater, lamp, etc. I learned from this that one space heater is actually drawing 1600 Watts on high, while the other lied to me about being able to draw 1500W on high and is instead only drawing 1000 Watts on high. So if even if you use this for a lamp, you can see if that 9W led bulb is actually drawing 9W or not.

This Smart Plug worked with issues
This Smart Plug worked right to the box, I researched to be sure that the Smart Plug would work with my current Smart Plug and App and it did, I am using the Smart Life App found on Googleplay.com, It was very simple to setup by just plugging in the Smart Plug to the wall outlet and pressing and holding the button until the light start flashing and then run the app and search for the Smart Plug after the App located the plug give it a name and that's it, if you are using the app for the first time remember to run your Alexa setup either on your phone or online at https://alexa.amazon.com and locate the Skill option and search for the Home Life Skill, Alexa will import all the device located and linked with the Smart Life App and add them to the Alexa Skill settings and now you are ready. This is an update review June 24th 2018 all of a sudden I started having issues with this smart plug they keep dropping the Wi-Fi signal and the app keeps stating that they're offline to put them back online you must remove them from the app hold down the button on the smart plug until the blue light starts flashing then perform a search with the app again this very annoying every few days they go offlineUpdate 07/17/18 Smart Plugs keep going offline but now I have figured out how to get them back online, just unplug it and plug it back in again and wait a few seconds and tell Alexa to turn the lights or whatever name you have given the Smart Plug and Alexa should be able to communicate again with the plug, this is a pain, and some times this happens every few weeks.

For the price it is worth it!!! Otherwise, get Sonoff or Broadlink!!!
I got 2 units for $14.99 and for wifi switches this is a great price for a 16amp pair of wifi switches. Now talking about the product, it is good but it could be great with little extra work from manufacture. I have used many wifi switches so far and none is perfect, but the 2 brand I have liked the most were Broadlink and Sonoff becuase of their Cost and Performance. What this unit is missing in comparison with these other 2 brands is: #1-History (data and time) of when the unit goes ON and OFF(like Broadlink does), #2-timer with multiple entries and that you can save the setting so that you don't have to input the minutes every time(like Sonoff does), #3-Look Timer/Cycled Timer (both Sonoff and Broadlink do this). #4-Power-On-State for when the switch reboots because of energy blackout(Sonoff has the option to control if the switch will be on, off or remember last state. This is very important in the case of a Refrigerator/Freezer #5-Control the light color of the LED(It would be good to have no light when OFF and Green or Blue light when ON. The unit is Blue when OFF and Purple when ON, this is quite confusing. There should also be 2 tiny Status LEDs for Power-ON and Wifi-Online. I will start using it today with my Weber BBQ to see if the 16amps is Real or not. I also wish these Wifi Manufacturers of Wifi Switches would make unit with higher Amparege like 20amp, 30amp, 50amp, etc.

Work fantastic with Alexa!
Works great with Amazon Alexa. I think these plugs are fantastic. I downloaded the smart life app, paired them easily, named them easily, added them to the alexa app, and they have worked ever since. I have turned them on and off and never had to pair them again, as with another smart plug brand I bought. Very satisfied with them.
