When I usually think of a microfibre cloth, I tend to think of a fleecy / fluffy texture. These cloths are not fleecy or fluffy. On one side they have a semi-silky striped courdoroy type material that feels a little weird on your hand - kind of like there is a bit of friction so your skin kind of gets stuck on it as you feel it, and any dry skin really gets stuck on it. It's not the nicest to hold with your bare hands to be honest, but perhaps I can use it with cleaning gloves on to overcome that.The other non-microfibre side feels like slightly rough cloth that still has that "skin-gets-stuck-on-it" feeling. Personally I'm not sure I'd use this rougher side, but I would use the softer side.I tested the microfibre side to clean my glasses and it seemed to work just fine. It works well for dusting and cleaning all sorts of surfaces too.All in all, these seem to do the job and can be used for cleaning, though it's a shame they're not that nice to handle because of the weird material feel.
