Cute, washable, but 3 out of 5 needed small stitching where the neckline was Price was right, on sale so still worth repairing for the cost.

I collect stuffed animals and my favorite to collect are large, huggable plushies cause they really come in handy on bad days. Dogs are one of my favorite types of plushies to collect because I'm allergic to dogs, so this is the closest I can come to adopting one.This hugging plush puppy comes vacuum sealed and once opened, very quickly expanded to full size. I did have to shake him around and knead the stuffing around to shape him out a little better. Petey has soft brown fur and is the perfect blend of soft and firm...soft enough to be huggable, yet firm enough that he doesn't slump or fall over. He has embroidered eyes, mouth, little whisker spots on his face, and even his little toe beans and paw pad are embroidered as well. Around one eye is a heart, made out of the same soft, smooth fabric as the muzzle and has embroidery around the edges.The only minor issues I had, was that the puppy doesn't have a tail (which makes it look more like a dog's head on a teddy bear body instead of a just a dog) and also that Petey's hands were sewn to his body. How can he be called a hugging plush when he can't hug you because you can't even move his arms? I very carefully went in with a pair of scissors, found where there were knots in the string and very carefully cut off the knotted end on one side of the paw and pulled on the knot from the opposite end to slowly pull out the string and free his hands (in the photo where I'm lifting his arm, you can look at his body and would never be able to tell his hands were ever sewn to his body).Overall, I would definitely recommend this hugging plush puppy to anyone. With the heart over his eye, he would make a very good Valentine's day gift. I think, no matter if you're young or old, anyone who enjoys stuffed animals would love this puppy.

This dog is absolutely perfect! He looks so cute sitting in my rocking chair. He’s nice and fluffy. And he’s really big. He’s the large one from the pack. I named her “Heidi”. She is made very well. I’m highly impressed. I totally recommend this doggy.

Thought it would be softer

First I want to say that this puppy is so soft and cute. It came sealed in a plastic bag and in the first picture you can see what it looked like fresh out of the bag. After playing with it a few hours it took on its normal shaped and looks cute. This poor puppy has been everywhere and is holding up ok. I say ok because in one of the pictures he is being carried by his ears and after a day or two he developed a small hole in his right ear. This hole is from the stitching holding the ear to the head coming undone. You can see the hole in the picture I attached. I was easily able to fix this hole and keep his ear on him. I do not blame the manufacturer or the seller for this issue. I fully believe it was a user error. This is why I’m still honing 5 stars. Overall the rest of the puppy is perfect. The eyes are completely stitched and has no hard pieces. This means it’s perfect for daycare if they have a no hard pieces for nap time stuffed animals. Overall, this is a great little friend and I’m happy to have him.

Toy was shrink wrapped. It was totally mangled and was unable to use it as a gift. Guess the dog has a new toy.
