We love this Montessori style cooking set! It has become the hot topic of conversation with every other family who sees this and our toddler has enjoyed hours of cooking and baking activities with this. The variety of tools provided allow for specialized activities - from cutting to mixing, and slicing to spooning. All items feature a strong wood component with ergonomic handles.I have removed one star because the all wooden slicer with the handle ended up breaking after very few uses while slicing a cucumber. This was incredibly disappointing to us because all other items have held up to much use. Plan on trying to repair this with some super glue.

My 3 year old granddaughter loves to copy us doing normal household chores. Lately she has shown a big interest in cooking so we ordered this for her. At her age she needs to be supervised since these are "solid" high quality wooden utensils. The knife in particular should probably be kept in the kitchen safely which seems natural.If we can build her interest in cooking now we hope that will grow in the future as she gets big enough to help with real meal preparation

This set is so adorable, we just love it! It's the perfect size for my almost 2-year-old to help in the kitchen. The knife and larger chopper are able to cut soft things cannot injure their little hands. The only problem we have had with this set is that water can get stuck under the piece that wraps around the rolling pans, instead of being one piece the rolling pin has an outer cover (which is cute with the painted-on sprinkles) but can catch water. I would not recommend putting any of these pieces in the dishwasher, better to just wash them by hand.

My little guy loves being in the kitchen with me while I cook and I'm so thrilled to have found this little set of wood kitchen utensils. The cutting board is great quality, as are each of the tools. The knife and chopper are both sharp enough to cut through soft fruits, like bananas. The rolling pin is adorable with the sprinkles baked into the roller. I highly recommend this for any little chef! I love that my boy feels included in the kitchen now.

This set is the absolute best for small hands!I was a little worried about the kid's knife and toddler knife but they're relatively safe for kids to use as it's all wood and no metal. However, I still proceed with caution watching over my kids while they use it.The cutting board and rolling pin are perfectly measure for small quantities of food. This also makes for a very easy cleanup.I'm so in love with the design of the sprinkled cover rolling pin; I found that super creative! The whisk is strong enough to beat eggs and dough but I wouldn't go too crazy. Maybe helpful for the beginning of mixing and then mom/dad can mix the rest to make sure everything is well incorporated.This set is a wonderful gift idea for the cook(s)/baker(s) in your home/family! Very useful for small children (2-8 years old!)

My daughter loves this set. She is four and we've started to allow her to "help" with baking, and this set is perfect for that. The wooden knives are a little of a pain in the rear to clean as we can't just throw them into the dishwasher but she loves them so it's worth it. This set along with her little chef hat and apron is perfect.

I love that these are real tools that your little one can use to actually help out in the kitchen. My toddler uses most of them very often with the exception of the longer wooden knife i don’t find it to be very useful just yet.Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the adhesive that keeps the whisk together fell apart rather easily but we just shove it back in to use it
