Retinol Gel 0.05 Vitamin A for Fine Lines & Wrinkles, Scar, Age and Sun Spots, Anti-Aging Formula, 20 Grams (0.05)

I have used this retinoid for nearly 3 years and started at 0.025% and worked my way up to 0.1%. It takes a long time to do this, so don't buy this and use it straight away without working up. You will get burned. It's very, very, very strong and your skin must get used to it first. It will likely take years to get up to this percentage.I had used a subscription service before stopping as it was waaaay too expensive and the quality was quite poor.Last night, I popped this on and the consistency was so lovely and thin and light - very easy to spread.Always use before bed and not during the day.I started off with La Roche Possay Cicaplast Baume B5+ then waited a bit before I applied a pea sized amount (do not use more!) once it had absorbed, I waited a bit and put more La Roche Possay Cicaplast on top. Once that absorbed, I put on some castor oil.I woke up and got the best result I have ever had from this retinoid! I am so impressed.I had a scratch that has almost fully healed overnight. I am shook!Also a spot on my head that was taking forever to disappear has almost gone.I plan to use this every second day and my 0.05% in between, to not disturb my skin barrier.With this retinoid, good moisturising products are a must. Otherwise your skin barrier will break.If you find signs of redness/tenderness, stop immediately and let your skin heal with ceramides.Once you've done this, start at the lower dose.With retinoids, slow and steady win the race.Always use SPF 50+ or higher when you use this product as your skin becomes more vulnerable to the sun and will actually give you the opposite results you want.I love this product! I can't recommend it enough and this particular brand is excellent.If you have been using a subscription service for your bretinoid, use this instead. It's much better!

Excellent cream for fine lines and combating the effects of aging. I read the reviews before purchasing and everyone said you need to start low but I've been wearing retinol products twice a day for years so decided to go for the 0.5 strength. I'm not stupid and certainly wasn't going to just rub it right on my face so patch tested it on the back of my hands and just under my chin. I also put it straight on without the sandwich layer method but did apply a ceramide cream on top a few hours after applying this. I had no irritation at all from it and am looking forward to seeing results although I know that won't be anytime soon. It's also not greasy and rubs right in without leaving a residue. And it's great value for the price.

I’ve been using this for years but it is increasingly hard to purchase so I’m incredibly happy to find it on Amazon. The company is also good in quickly responding and ensuring all is ok with your purchase. The product absorbs well and I notice visibly better skin.

I took this to my doctor's as I was weary of the ingredients who confirmed it is a gel version of accutane. This is extremely dangerous for women of child bearing age as accutane causes serious birth defects in babies. My doctor was absolutely horrified to know that it's being sold on Amazon as a wrinkle/ line treatment. Accutane is only ever prescribed by a hospital and you need regular blood & pregnancy test due to the impact it has on kidneys & unborn babies.......

It was sealed when received,only been using two days but I've had no reactions on my skin,but I've been using retinol products for 2 years,so bear in mind you can't just jump into a high strength retinol.you will get skin dryness and harshness causing burn effects.

Absolutely incredible cream! My complexion has evened out in just a WEEK. At 42 I now have the youthful skin I was always proud of in my 20's and 30's, couldnt be happier. Don't forget your daily SPF.

Good quality and effective. Please do a thorough research before applying this cream as its highly irritable if you dont moisturise and protect skin barrier properly.
