Great value bed frame
This item arrived in one box, everything was well packaged and protected. The instructions were clear and each part and relevant fixing was clearly labelled so it was easy to understand what went where.I built this on my own in a little under 2 hours, it would have been much quicker if the slat support rail had been pre-attached or at least properly predrilled. For the price I am really pleased with this bed, it is sturdy enough for its intended child occupant and I would expect it to have no issues as a spare or occasional bed for an adult. Due to the material thickness and build style I wouldn't recommend this as an everyday bed for a medium to large sized adult as I can imagine some of the componant parts failing under heavy use.Overall very happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy again should the need arise.

Excellent value for money
Such a good value bed! For just £50 I really cannot complain. It was pretty easy to assemble (I built it on my own and it took me just a couple of hours). It looks good and seems sturdy enough for use in our guest bedroom. Only niggle I would say is one of the pre made holes for a screw was in the wrong place although this didn’t affect the assembly (see photograph).

Simple to build and good looking bed for the money.
Simple to build and fairly good quality. Seems fairly sturdy. Would recommend using a decent electric screwdriver or drill as there are quite a lot of self tapping screws to fit. Only gripe is the slats in the headboard aren’t of identical lengths by about half a millimetre, not much, but means some are wobbly once assembled. No big deal. Would buy another.

You get what you pay for......
I have my Grandads ‘words of wisdom’ wafting over the ether from the underworld..’buy cheap buy twice’..I needed a bed for my very tall 11 year old and he insisted on a wooden one.. because metal ones make ‘his teeth feel funny’.....(Yes... I did tell him that he wasn’t suppose to be licking the damn thing!!.)...as he’s growing at a massive rate I didn’t want to spend too much. This bed looked just the thing.. read the reviews and thought I’d go for it.Arrived quickly.. and considering I’m North North north north of Hadrians wall that was impressive..Putting together was easy peasy however as a few people have already reviewed some holes were in the wrong place or not there at all..Not a biggie as the soft wood composite allowed for manual hole making ..( elbow grease and a Phillips) ..The slats at the headboard have lasted a week..We are down to one left in place...the dowels have literally pushed through..so no leaning, touching or breathing on them.. they break like kit kats...It is what it is..I’ve spent £70 on a night out and spent the following day throwing up said £70..If I get a few months of pre pubescent growth out of it and then end up turning it into an upcycled runner bean trellis then it’s still more worthwhile than that one night in Amsterdam.. just don’t expect too much.

Great, sturdy bed with clear instructions!
This is a great bed! I've never received a flat pack where everything went together so nicely (all of the dowels fitting nicely and holes lining up etc.) It also has very clear instructions. Everything is labelled with a letter or number and there are clear images to work off.Comes with one spanner but you will need a second 10mm to help with tightening and there are 67 screws so you will also need a screwdriver or drill! You might be put off by that many screws but it's straightforward and personally felt reassured that I was building a proper sturdy bed, not using all the cheap plastic fittings that can snap. Took me two hours to build but I was using a screwdriver - would probably take half the time with a drill. Nice height from the floor for little one to sleep in.

Great value for money
Nice bed, not too heavy to move. Plenty of space under the bed if you wanted to store items underneath. The bedframe didn't look 100% sturdy but it's for a child so I'm not too worried about it, provided she doesn't jump up and down too much. I have also slept in it with my child so it will take the weight. Only given three stars for assembly as I purchased the assembly service via Amazon so I had a guy come into build it for me. He did it in under an hour on his own with all the right tools but I suspect it will have taken me much longer had I done it on my own.

Don't waste your money, lots of good reviews very misleading
Plain and simple, poor quality rubbish.Assembly is a real pain, the wood is such brittle and poor quality. Can see pieces that came already broken in pics.Got this for my boy on the day of his 3rd birthday, he climbed on it and stood up (didn't jump) already head one of the splints crack.Wish he hadn't bothered.

Really happy with purchase
This bed is excellent value. Came with everything needed to put it together with the exception of a cross head screwdriver. Everything fit perfectly, packaged well, easy to put together (I did it on my own), sturdy and looks great.
