Terrible book - the whole book is about the dragon ...
Terrible book - the whole book is about the dragon doing terrible things... the moral isn't good enough to have children sit through so many "bad" actions from the dragon.

Kid And Teacher Approved
I am a second grade teacher and this book is always a hit with my kids. Dragon is hilarious with his bad behavior of taking candy from baby unicorns and spitting on cupcakes, among many of highly entertaining things. My kids always get such a kick out of how ridiculous Dragon is and how all is well by the end of the story. Great to use when teaching character traits and how characters change throughout a story!!

On My Short List of Favorites This Year
This book is amazing. Simply put, one of my favorites of the year. The illustrations compliment the text perfectly, and the little side jokes ("Dragon was here" in graffiti, for example) add the the outstanding story. Buy this one, it's a keeper.

Cheesy but my 3yo loves it!
It's a nice story line in the sense that it teaches that we can learn through story telling and even a bad dragon can be tamed to be nice if he has the chance to learn. My 3yo son loves it and my 5yo daughter doesn't want to hear it 'cause it makes her scared at night and gives her bad dreams'. I was surprised by that but she is in general at the age where she is starting to get scared of ghosts and dragons and all those 'bad things'.

Funny, cute, good moral
I recommend this book. The story is funny for kids, the illustration is cute and fun, and the over all design is good.Sometimes children seem terrible and just need some positive one on one attention. Sometimes it is hard to give positive attention when they don’t seem to be doing anything nice. We got this book when my oldest child was 4 and he had some pretty mean tendencies toward his baby siblings. It was so hard to not be so negative to him about it and we would get into this loop day after day with so many timeouts and tantrums. Books like this remind my children and me that it doesn’t have to keep going in that terrible loop. That oldest child is now 7 and still really likes this book and even dressed up as Dragon for “dress as your favorite book character day” at school. 5 stars from us. I wish there were more books about Dragon, or maybe Baby Unicorn or any of the other characters in this book with emotional morals by Kelly DiPucchio and Greg Pizzoli.

Hilarious book - provides fun modeling bad/good behavior
My 4 year old niece and nephew love this book. They ask me to read it through for them three times in a row whenever I visit them. It's a terrific book for demonstrating rude! toddler behavior vs. polite and good. The book "Rude Cake" works similarly. To get the kids to listen and be good, their parents and I will ask them if they are "Terrible like Dragon" or if they are "Rude Cakes" when they won't listen. Immediately they stop being difficult and try to prove they are polite and well behaved. It works every time!!!

I would highly recommend for parents and educators just for fun
One of my favorites. Humor is spot on and engaging for both parent and child reader. I would highly recommend for parents and educators just for fun, but also to teach the idea that we can help change attitudes by choosing to see the possibilities in someone rather than focusing on their negative behaviors.

Such a cute book!
This book was recommended to me and I'm so glad it was! It is just the cutest little book for my daughter who loves dragon and superheroes just as much as princesses and dolls. Definitely a book I would give as a gift!
