Great speakers for the price
Been using the creative T40 for the last 12 years, but for some reason it developed a random buzzing noise so bought these, very happy with the purchase, feels solid, sounds great with good bass, speaker unit is actually quite a bit bigger than the pictures would let you believe. Only thing is RGB lighting is a bit annoying because it does not automatically turn off with the PC so I just leave it off completely. ( or I haven’t figured out how to sync with PC)

Superb sound quality, worthy of a much more expensive setup
The Pebble X Plus has incredible sound quality! Extremely happy with these. I used to have a Creative 5.1 system decades ago and it lasted for many years with superb quality, but was 3x the price (which was a lot back then). For music in my small office room, I haven't had to make any adjustments out of the box and the volume can cap out very loud when plugged into the computer for power. When playing games, they need to have "Virtual Surround" enhancement enabled in Windows ideally, otherwise it can sound a bit 'flat' as it's all coming from the front of my ears. I am biased on this, though, as I'm used to my Sennheiser Game One headset which is incredible for gaming with full directional sound. The only negative is that when installing the Creative 'app' and opening it, I was expecting to see some equaliser options but there is literally nothing. It's just changing the colours of the RGB or installing a new firmware (which I didn't bother doing because I've read about others bricking the speakers by doing so).Ultimately, these are fantastic out of the box. No need to do anything with them, just plug and play. Superb music quality and a punchy bass from the small sub on the desk behind my monitor.Strongly recommended, especially a steal for the price point!

Great sound
Great sound good sub woofer for my purposes. Don't buy for the LED concept as you can't really see them. Well worth the purchase though

Big upgrade from their T40 Series II!
Moved up from their T40 Series II and boy, it was the best decision ever! Excellent bass response and collectively with their "round ball" speakers, produced an impressive large sound presence and imaging right in front of my computer. I have been a Creative speaker user for years now and this is their best sound system by far (in my opinion of course!). A 30W or more USB charger is needed for the speakers to go louder. Otherwise, there is a volume level limit if you are just plugging it to a USB outlet from your computer.

Style over sound
These are designed to be looked at rather than heard. With a sufficient powerful power supply - one's not included, just a USB C cable?! - the sound is OK if you're playing dance music. It's not bad if you're playing something less bassy (that is an improvement on some Creative headphones!) but it's nowhere near what you could get by paying less for some bookcase Bluetooth speakers or some old passive speakers plus a Bluetooth amp.Not that these are designed to be put on a bookcase: the angle of the two side speakers is very definitely pointed upwards. These are wanting to be on the floor if you're sitting down a couple of metres away, or perhaps towards the back of a desk at the level of the keyboard. The amplifier in these is in the right hand one of the pair. This is combined with having a fairly short and very definitely fixed cable to the left hand one - forget having them more than a metre apart - and an equally fixed but slightly longer one to the sub-woofer."My sub-woofer goes up to three..."The sub-woofer has three speakers: one fairly small powered one facing forwards and two smaller passive ones to the sides. One of the first things you learn when doing sound in school physics is that humans are not good at telling which direction low frequency sound is coming from. Having three speakers (OK, one plus two echos) pointing in different directions for the low notes is just silly and having them be small ones limits just what they can do on those low notes... but hey, it looks neat, doesn't it?Also in the 'there to be looked at, not listened to' category are the lights on the main two. These have a number of patterns you can cycle through, but the one that's supposed to be the equivalent of a sound meter is terrible. Some of the others aren't bad, but you can also turn them off, fortunately. As with much Creative kit, you can use their app to tweak stuff. As with much Creative kit when it's new, you can't tweak much - these could really use an EQ control so you can adjust the sound, but you can only play with the lights. That may or may not change. At the price point - currently £115 or so with the silly tickbox 'voucher' - there is no excuse for not having any Bluetooth codecs beyond the basic SBC.

Very Good Budget Upgrade
I had the Creative Pebble Plus for many years and got this for an upgrade. It has more than enough bass for me and the clear voices when playing games are very nice. The app is nice too.Other than spending 4 times more for higher end, these will do very nicely (until I win the Lotto)The power light on the old ones I had, I had to cover up because it was so bright, but the Pebble X power light is fine for me. RGB is nice too.I would recommend these.

Really good though some minor improvements could be made
Great speakers. I bought them for my home office which is a very small room so I didn't need anything too big & powerful. They are certainly a huge step up from my PC speakers or phone which I'd been using previously, and I really love the bass.A few things to be aware of: if you are powering other things from the same socket / extension cable, this might cause issues with the speakers. Running my PC, monitors & a PC peripherals dock plus these speakers is fine - if I add my phone on fast charging, though, I get intermittent interruptions to the speakers. Not a huge deal if you can charge your phone at another socket! The bluetooth setting announces "ready to pair" etc. *every time* you switch to bluetooth or turn the speaker on, and if you disconnect. This is really quite annoying but minor in the scheme of things.Overall a great set of speakers, I'm very happy with them.
