Fairy Tale Collections By Andrew Lang (12 Volume Set, 1965-1968)

This "set" can be individually ordered and is no different from the individual books. So, what the buyer is paying for is convenience, which is nice. I ordered this thinking it was a distinct set, but it is not. While I haven't yet seen the books, I'm told they are fine.Dover classics seem to be the best version to order unless paying substantially more for something like the Easton Press versions. Barnes and Noble and Folio Society also seem to have good versions, but I bought this Dover set for now. Dover is supposed to be complete.

These are just as the description says. Exact reprints of Lang's originals with all Ford illustrations. A must have for anyone interested in classic tales, mythology and fantasy stories. I hope these stay in print but get it just in case! It's worth the price. --Especially considering that 1st ed. hardcovers in this series cost hundreds of $ apiece! ; )

These books are so well done, great collection of stories that educate the mind and the soul. Highly recommended.
