Gor Pets Springy Cat Toy - Island with Mice Spring Toy 23.5 cm (Grey/Brown)

I have waited a few weeks since receiving this item to post my review, because when I opened the box, there was fluff everywhere and I was concerned that the fabric wasn't substantial enough to stand up to a boisterous kitten. After 1 day, one of the smaller mice came away from the base, quickly followed by the other 2. They were each replaced several times, until I realised that my kitten was having far more fun kicking them around the floor and chasing after them than she did when they were attached to the base!My initial fears about the fabric were unfounded. All the mice and the base still have the fabric intact. The main issue, other than the easily detached mice, is that the base isn't really heavy enough to stop the whole thing falling over every time a kitten nudges one of the mice.I have give the Cat Island 4 stars despite its issues, as my kitten has had many weeks of fun from this, even if not quite in the way it was intended, so it certainly works for her in terms of entertainment at a fairly low price for me.

The product itself is quite well made, though a couple of things I thought could be improved include:1- The mice come off a bit too easiy, its easy to put them back on the base though2- The base is quite light and easily knocked overUnless I'm sitting by the toy, swinging the mouse tails, my cats don't take any interest in this at all which is a shame, because I do think its quite a good toy.

My little kitten loves it. However, one of the mice is too easy to come off the stand- not very good hold. Otherwise, loves taking mice of the stand and carrying it around. Very entertaining as a lot of play potential

Good value, my kitten loves it. It's a bit flimsy but you get what you pay for. Sometimes I find clumps off fluff on the floor but that's just from my kitten scratching it!

Quick assembely led to quick play. My cats (who are less than animated most of the time) were initially uninterested but after a quick sprinkle of cat nip I was unable to remove the toy to put it away! The toy has a cute rattley noise which entertains the cats, my only gripe would be that the middle 'mouse' has a tendency to come lose and fall out - easily rectified though and I wouldn't consider it as dangerous. This is a lot smaller than expected but is still quite good. Easy to put together and despite my kitten being 9-10 months old, he hasn’t managed to knock it over of break it. His cousin is 11 months and is the size of a fully grown cat. He’s had a good go at it and enjoys playing with it.

My cat really enjoys playing with these. They were easy to set up. It was smaller than I expected though and if she pulls them too much it falls on it's side but she still plays with it whilst lying in her back. She doesn't seem to mind it falling. I recommend it as she enjoys it and I enjoy watching her play with it. It's nice and decorative too!
