Pretty surprised at the quality, for the cost. Very solid product. Withstands deep vacuum from a JB Platinum series 5cfm pump...meaning, your cheap one most certainly will not be able to break it. Excellent sealing, valves are vacuum tight.

Edit change my review from 1 to 4 star because they went out of their way to satisfy me on my purchase even tho the first vacuum chamber was failing….First use it worked great held vacuum. Every time I use its tho it seems like it builds less and less vacuum and the vault is leaking some where tried to tighten and get it to hold vacuum to no avail. Don’t know if I got a bad batch or if it’s just garbage. Was hopping it would last long term but just a one time use then down hill fast from there :(

Everything as expected. I Like the weight of the chamber. The tubes were difficult to get on, I had to use tools for grip, but they seal very well. I had a minor problem with the plug on the gauge, be gentle with it, mine slipped through the hole it was meant to plug. Gauge still works fine though. Liquids tend to boil and splash onto the inside, but it cleans very easy. I am impressed with the gasket. - Thank you to the manufacturer.

The media could not be loaded. It functions exactly as expected, compared to trying to diy build a tank yourself this seems like a no brainer. It seems to seal perfectly, so far no complaints about the build quality, its easier to just buy this than to make your own so it’s worth the cost, and it’s very straightforward to use.

It works, but I don't know about taking it down to the full rating of the chamber. Mine arrived with a large air bubble in the seam where the sides meet the bottom. Not sure how this will affect the longevity of the chamber, but it makes me nervous.

We used this for a science project where we needed a vacuum that would be pretty steady for a month or so. We used the Bacoeng pump as well, and together they worked very well. We turned on the pump for less than a minute a day to maintain the vacuum. We're not professional lab scientists, but it suited our purposes extremely well and the experiment was a complete success.

This worked but at first it didn’t. I had to press down on the top when first starting to get a seal and then it’s good to go. I have to do this everytime. Not a big deal. BUT, Omg, the smell. It was overpowering. I’m not sure if it is the glue they used to adhere the acrylic pieces together as it is a rectangle shape or what, but it was truly nauseating and if I could have left it outside to air our for a few days, I would have. Unfortunately, I did not have that option. I am not exaggerating, it made me feel lightheaded and dizzy and lasted for a few days. So, something to keep in mind. Otherwise though, I’ve successfully de-gassed silicone twice now and I do appreciate being able to watch it through the clear acrylic from all sides.
