The Adventure Chair is great whether you're hanging out at the river or around the campfire. With the entire mesh seat and back, you're sure to stay cool on those hot summer days. If you get splashed, no worries - it will dry quickly, too. It is composed of a sturdy, powder coated aluminum frame, so it will be lightweight and also has telescoping, patented legs, which provide extra support for a weight capacity of 400 lbs! It easily compacts and fits into a carry bag when it's time to pack up and head home.

Surprisingly high quality and comfort for professional use
UPDATE: After almost 4 years of service, I can confirm this is a great chair. Still my go-to for beach weddings and gigs 2 hours or less (got a nice stakmore wooden folding chair for longer gigs where load in isn’t a problem, also recommended. Pro tip: a good quality seating pad makes both chairs much more comfortable and better height for music performance for a tall person. Both chairs fold up in seconds, there are more comfortable options out there but none are faster to set up or tear down). I haven’t had one problem, yes it's bigger and heavier than any of the other folding camping chairs, but nothing comes close to the sturdiness of this chair, the difference is the tubes than go straight down from the chair to the feet. It makes it heavier, and bigger folded up than the other styles, but to me it's an easy tradeoff. It is NOT for ultralight backpacking, but I can easily carry it on short hikes, to the beach and kids sports events, etc.ORIGINAL REVIEW: My search for a portable, comfortable, sturdy guitar/ukulele chair is over. I play music at a lot of outdoor weddings, and have tried many options for long gigs on many natural surfaces, including sand. My main chair for 3 seasons has been a roc-n-soc drum throne with a back. It sure works great, but the tripod legs aren't great in sand or any uneven surface for that matter, it's heavy, and time consuming if you need to break it down fully for transport (like in a wagon with battery powered amp, mic, cords, stands, guitar and Uke). As I am lazy and don't want to take a full 7 minutes setting up and breaking down a chair at a gig, I've always been on the lookout for a folding camping chair with no arms. All the others seemed be cheap and get bad reviews, so when I saw this one at twice the price with 5 stars, I took the plunge. It's awesome. Heavy, yes, not a backpacking chair, but half the weight of the drum throne and takes no time to set up and less than a minute to cram back into the bag when done. Very solidly constructed, surprisingly so in fact. There are no poles under your legs. You're basically in a sling suspended at the front corners of the chair and the top of the seat back; owing to its design it's actually easy to lean back like a lounger and much more comfortable than it looks. I'm 6"3 and the back support is fine for what I need it for. I sit pretty upright while playing and lounge back in between songs. Sure it's not a lazy boy, but for 2 hour gigs it's outstanding. I haven't used it any longer than that yet, nor have I tried it on sand, I'll add to my review if it fails but I have no reason to believe there will be any problem. My only hope is they keep making them in case this wears out after a few seasons or it gets lost or stolen. Maybe I should stock up, high quality doesn't sell well nowadays, lots of good products get discontinued for cheaper stuff that sells easier.

Sturdy quality
Top-notch, sturdy quality. I needed a good replacement after going through numerous chairs whose frames always broke over time. This is well-worth the higher price compared to other arm-less camping chairs (and only slightly larger overall). This chair is comfortable and strong for my 220 lb frame without being too cumbersome or heavy.Excellent product!

Nice chair for the river.
I ordered one of these. After receiving it, I ordered two more. It appears to be well made. I plan on using the chairs down at the river. The mesh fabric and weight capacity made this an easy choice. It doesn't have arms with cup holders, but I find those to be bothersome, and not very sturdy. The aluminum legs mean no rusting. I weigh 240 pounds. It looks like this chair will live up to its 400 pound rating. It doesn't pack up as small as some folding chairs, but that doesn't matter to me. It fits inside its tote bag, and isn't all that heave at 5.5 pounds. The all black color is nice compared to a lot of the multicolor chairs out there. This is a good companion to the Walkstool Comfort chairs i purchased awhile back (3 legged stool). It looks as though theses might be hard to find or they're being discontinued, so if you want one you better get one soon. I'm picky about my gear and I thought it was good enough to buy 3 of them.

These chairs are fantastic! Great for volleyball tournaments.
These chairs are fantastic! I'm so glad I purchased them! I bought them to take with me to my daughter's volleyball tournaments. They are lightweight but very sturdy. They are compact enough to use right along the sidelines and comfortable enough to enjoy at the team's "campsite" between games. I don't miss having the arms and it's actually better for bringing them inside for the games. If you know volleyball, you know that a lot of the parents switch sides of the court along with their girls between sets. With these chairs I can just quickly close it up and move to the other side. It fits right in along with the folding chairs that are sometimes provided, so not having arms is actually a plus. I really recommend these chairs if you want something lightweight yet sturdy and comfortable.

Worth every penny
This is more expensive than some other similar options, but also seemed to be sturdier while at the same time being lighter. I ordered one and then loved it so much ordered another. Its very sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. I've sat in it for several hours with no problems. But it is also incredibly lightweight with a very workable case that is comfortable on the shoulder to carry. I carry it about a mile each way and I'm a senior. And unlike others I've tried, its not a huge struggle to get the chair back into the case. Highly recommend!

If you play guitars…
Bought this no arms to play guitars on the beach or the beer league parking lot. Used for a few hours so far and it’s great. Looks/feels durable too. I’m 5’11 195.

Comfy chair without arms-Perfect for musicians
This is my second one of these chairs. I wanted a portable chair to sit outside, or that I could take to a picnic site, camp, or music festival and be comfortable, but still be able to play guitar or mandolin, which means it cannot have arms. That is surprisingly hard to find in a portable folding chair. These fill the bill perfectly. Fairly lightweight, easy to carry in the bag, even with an instrument case in the other hand, and relatively comfy. And no arms to get in the way.Highly recommended.

Very sturdy chair
The chair itself seems very sturdy and as comfortable as a chair like this can be. I use it for hunting and often sit several hours as motionless as possible. The only complaint I have is the carry bag. It is made from fairly light material and the strap isn't long enough to carry it diagonally across my back.

Comfortable, sturdy chair that met my expectations!!
Bought this to use in a hunting blind. I prefer not to have arms on my chair. Worked great, very sturdy and comfortable. I’m thinking about purchasing another

Comfortable even for a petite woman
This chair is perfect to sit at our collapsible dining table since it has no armrests. It looks sturdy and of high quality. I am a petite woman (100 pounds and 5 feet tall) and find it very comfortable.

Solid, small, light, uncomfortable
Seems like a solid chair, but does not live up to expectations for comfort. Other reviews said it was very comfortable event for very large people. I'm 6', 195lbs and do not fine this comfortable in the least. It is a folding chair, handy to have, but don't expect long afternoons of lounging on this chair

Great Mexico travel chair! Pack in 30’ suitcase.
I am a bigger guy and we travel to Mexico a few times a year. I was looking for a travel chair I could pack in a suitcase which was hard to find. Now I found this travel chair which I can pack in a 30’ suitcase! I can’t say how happy I am I found this chair. Now I can sit in this chair on the beach! I do t like loungers so this works great. Also save a few pesos for beer instead of renting a lounger. This chair rocks!
