The media could not be loaded. Upgraded from an H380 to this light.... Dont be confused. H380 great light but is a torch, this light is a game changer with its output and adjustability. Spreads lights very well from short distances. Running this on my Triggers system triton 44 sump and it works well.

Early but amazing results
To be fair my refugium was not functioning well and I’ve been battling REALLY high nutrients for a while, but I ran this light for one night at 30% intensity to acclimate and my nitrates and phosphates dropped 40% (still 10x) what I want them at). My gracilis and dragons breath look better then they ever have as well. I did also add a 400gph submersible pump with a homemade pvc diffuser to boost flow in the refugium and aid in nutrient exchange. Regardless I wasn’t expecting to see results for a few days. So far worth every penny.I’ll update my review after a few weeks of acclimation and running the light at intended intensity after a gradual ramp up.

Works great until it doesn’t
Worked really well for my saltwater refugium for 7 months but then the blue LEDs went out. Not worth the money for such a short life.

String refugium light
I was using the H80 which was a fantastic little light...but this is the next set up, and this light is sweet. Very strong and is growing the macro in my refugium a lot quicker.

Best Sump Light
Absolutely great product. My chaeto in the sump of my aquarium just exploded after one week of use. For anyone using it to grow macro algae this is the light.

Lasted only 4 months
Best light ever for four months, then completely quit working. Now I’m out $259.99 and I have to find a quality replacement.

Kessil makes quality productI use this light for my refugium.Addendum: mine only lasted nine months. So I removed two stars.
