Looks cool, and someone like me definitely needs this! Lol! Here’s why:
I love this! One time I accidentally pressed the starter button and shut off my truck at a stop light when I meant to press the off button to the radio. That was scary. Now I turn on my truck and immediately after starting it, I twist this to close off access to myself ever accidentally pushing the starter button again. Also, it looks cool.

Really wanted to love this
I am an avid Star Wars fan who just got a new car a few weeks ago, so naturally, I wanted to find some goods. I saw this and absolutely loved the idea. When it arrived, I went to put it on right away. It came with no instructions or tips/tricks on how to install, keeping it functional or how to clean. Not saying that I needed a manual, it was super easy to install, pretty common sense. I will say that the adhesive that came with the cover (3 extra adhesives, which was nice) was very difficult to get off. After a few trial runs, I found out it was easiest to take one of the backings off first, leave the other side on, put the adhesive onto the cover AND THEN put it on your dash around the button.Once I got it on, it looked amazing. I was absolutely obsessed with how cool it looked. The adhesive was also super strong and there’s no way that Hurricane Ian could’ve ripped it off. I was able to twist it open and close only a few times that day before it became harder and harder to twist. The gears got stuck every time not allowing to fully open or close when twisting. It got to the point where I took it off, tried putting WD40 on it, and worked it into the inner gears to see if this would keep it from getting stuck. It helped a little bit and I was able to get it to twist a little smoother for a day or so, but then it got back to the same struggles of having to manhandling it because it was stuck every time I went to open or close to push to start or off. I thought I would just deal with it and I left it on for about a week or so to give it a chance. Unfortunately, I was getting too annoyed and frustrated finagling with this every day multiple times a day, and I don’t have time to take it off, lube it up, and put it back on every day, not to mention it only comes with 4 adhesives so you would have to buy your own at that rate. So I decided to see if I could get a replacement. They did send me a replacement very quickly and I was hoping the first one I received was just defective. When I opened the replacement, not only did it have a visible brown rust spot on the front covering Vaders eye that the first did not have, but this one was even harder to twist. It wouldn’t open fully or close at all and I decided that I didn’t want to deal with it. I didn’t even put it on my dash because I knew what I went through with the 1st one.Like I said, I loved how good the cover looked when it was twisted closed showing the Darth Vader emblem over my push to start. But the reality is, I couldn’t even leave it closed during the 1 week that I left it on because it would get stuck every single time I tried to twist it open or close. I think that they really need to fix the internal workings and design so it doesn’t get caught. Once they fix the gears, everything would be perfect (besides the random rust spot on the emblem). But until then, I had to give 1 star.

Gets stuck
I like the feel and weight to the cover. Only issue I have at times it gets stuck when trying to close cover back so you have to play with it at times.

Elevates look and feel
This makes the car feel slightly better as you feel like a race care driver when you're powering on.

The application process is a nightmare. You're sitting there, asking yourself, "but you just stick it on your ignition and stick the thing to the blah". GUYS, the included sticker rings they include for "easy application" are absolute garbage. The "wrapping paper side" does not peel off. It just doesn't. You will shred that red sticky elastic thing to shreds before you get the "wrapping paper" off. It's a really cool idea, terrible execution. You're going to need to figure out how to stick it on by your own means, because you're not getting it done with what they gave you.
