Horrible Product Caught Fire - Even More Horrible Customer Service
We made the purchase in Oct 2016, while renovating our home. Installed & started using from Dec 2016.The geyser stopped working just after a year. Customer service was called, and a technician visited, who informed that the entire tank would have to be replaced, and promised to come back in 2 days. He came back after about 1-2 weeks, and replaced the tank.After some time, it became evident that the replacement tank was leaking - not heavily, but dripping just enough to cause rust & be irritating. Contacted customer service again, and a technician came by within a few days, and informed that the tank would have to be replaced again. Promises to come back within 2 days... doesn't show up for weeks... track down his mobile number and ask him for current status. He gets rude, and says he can't do anything until he gets the parts (which is true), and that parts haven't come. I ask him when the parts will come, and he says "I will tell you after it arrives" and cuts the call. Figured he might have been busy at that time. So, let a few more weeks pass. Then call again, he doesn't answer at all.Then I call customer service, seeking to escalate the complaint - turns out they have no provision to do so. Ask to speak with the supervisor, who informs they have no options do so. The only contact point, would be the local Kenstar Mechanic, and his Manager.Despite repeated attempts, the Mechanic doesn't answer. Manager keeps cutting my calls. And so, about 3 months passed with persistent dripping. One fine day, we smell something burning, and realize the Geyser is literally on fire. Immediately cut power, then contact Customer Service to report Fire. They inform that since previous complaint hasn't been closed, they can't register a new complaint!!!I loose it, and ask what if we hadn't spotted on time, and the fire had spread burning down my home. Threaten to go Consumer Court. They show no reaction whatsoever, and direct me to the same useless mechanic & Manager saying there is nothing they can do - as all actions are to be taken by the mechanic & Manager. Managed to get the mechanic on the phone, informed him of the fire - he promised to come by within 2 days - then doesn't show up. It's been about 10 days now.I would suggest that you don't consider buying any Kenstar Geyser... With customer service this horrible, it doesn't matter whether they offer 1 year warranty or 6 years warranty...Their strategy seems to be make the customer service so horrible, to keep you waiting for so long, that you will throw this geyser away and buy a new one. That is precisely what I am going to do... 6K is not worth the trouble they are putting me through to get it fixed/replaced... Besides, I'm not sure I want a fire hazard like this unit at my home anyway.

Good after sales service
I got problem with the heating element and the it was replaced at our doorsteps with few phone calls.

The product is good and it has great value for money. Once heated the water is warm for a considerable time. Takes lesser time to heat water than my earlier geyser which was of a local manufacturer. I bought it during sale and got sbi instant discount of 10 %. I have been using it for 2 months no issues till now.The only think that i disliked is that when I ordered it was showing free installation. Subsequently after receiving i called up for installation and was told that they would charge for installation and that would be 250 plus Gst. Furthermore, installation was to be done by a third party neither by amazon nor by Kenstar.

I just got lucky!! Quick heat..auto cut-off..good capacity..good quality..low energy consumption.
The best value for money..I bought it in 2015 on offer for Rs. 6280 and no problems till now.It heats the water pretty quickly around 30 mins enough and that hot water stays in the tank as hot for almost 15 hrs. Which is amazing.Plus it has auto cut-off feature so no tension. Plus it is 5 star energy savings rated..so easy on your electricity bill.The only thing to consider is your bathroom height..as it is a fairly big tank (around 2 ft in length I guess and 1 feet in width)But trust me it is really value for money..and if you have a big family 3+ members.. it will heat enough water for all your family without worrying about not getting hot water if someone baths before you :P.

quality of service and product's quality is amazing... it is really a five star... fully satisfied with the product.one suggestions:going by experience I had ordered one more , thought came to know later on that one can order only one. if it is the limitation it should not allow to book at the time of booking itself rather than keeping customer waited for more than one week and rejected the order stating the limitation.surprise to see that where various e-commerce companies disparately looking for customers to buy their products.. but here amanzon set a limitation to purchase only one.... ..... does not understand the reason......

Leakage and current passes
The media could not be loaded. I have purchage this product last year but with 8 months leakage of water started from tank. and current also passes in tape. no one is taking responsibility to change tank. i Have called to customer care no 08039405252 then call loged on 29th October 2018. then called to area manager on his phone no 08191027776 Mr. Dhruv some how taken some interest initially but no fruitful ,.. Now he is not picking phone. then some AREA EXECUTIVE Manager Mr AADHAR 7065022644 phone is switch off. Mean while i have also talked with mr. MANISH PRAJAPATI on his no 9026719009.. but useless.. Mean while i have purchased another gas guesser of HAVEL make off. .. In between customer care representative blamed that AMAZON is selling faulty products . so talk with amazon.. very funny. . Now I am going to make complain and will raise case in consumer court.

Worthless
I'm reviewing it after 4 yrs of usage. It's had breakdown issue since 1st year.1st it was repaired under warranty. Then continued repair on paid basis in 2018,2019,2020 and now in 2921 it got short-circuit.
