This little Banana tree withstood a hurricane
I am so happy that this little banana tree is strong not only did it survive a hurricane but she is getting all the great nourishments from my beloved cat Naomi. This little banana tree is helping me to deal with the loss of my beloved cat she is right outside my front door with Naomi buried under this little tree. This little tree is going to grow to withstand anything the weather can throw at her. She has strong roots and if you do just what it tells you to do from the moment it is delivered to your home you also can have this beautiful banana tree in your front or back yard. I like having it right coo to the front door so every day I can say hello to Namoi it was the best thing I could think of was I get a banana tree to plant over top of Naomi. And I have to say that I was surprised when the hurricane hit us and This tiny little bit of a tree was untouched. I should say we had the tail end of the hurricane for it devastated Fla. Here in Va. we only got very strong winds that hit around 50 miles an hour And that is still very strong winds. But this little guy didn't even lose and leaf. My big banana tree that has another one of my cats buried underneath it lost every one of its leaves. But it just not getting new leave a. So I do recommend this banana tree even one as little as this one.

Disappointing to Say the Least
This plant was only 4 inches in height and arrived in very poor condition. I grow and transplant banana plants all the time and this is much smaller than most gardeners recommend for transplant. The leaves are all limp and I will be be shocked if it survives. Not worth the money they charge.

Wow its gotten big lol. I just was scrolling through my reviews and i didnt buy this too long ago, ill put up a pic of it today 11/24 same year. Growing in a very small greenhouse staying at around 70 even though its in the 20s outside. So what im saying is, fairly easy to grow under somewhat simple conditions and grew quickly

Only 1 healthy leaf
This starter plant had 3 leaves: one dead, one healthy, and one withering. I put it in the ground. I'll update the review if it dies or if it grows. I would have preferred to have had a fully healthy plant, though, and there are no refunds, so I don't know if the cost of this is worth it.

It is very small, treat carefully.
As expected, I received a banana tree. It is so small that it will probably take two years to mature and hopefully bear it's kind of banana, which in this case is the diminute manzano kind.

Slow but steady growth
Seems to prefer being in the ground more than potted life

Tasty Banana
The media could not be loaded. Tasted it in Hawaii last year, and thought of planting some for private consumption, hopefully it will take off.
