Beautiful Crock, Excellent Careful Shipper
This is a beautiful piece of ceramic stoneware. I was concerned about having this product shipped but I couldn’t have been more pleased when it arrived safe and unbroken. This is possibly the most carefully packed and protected item I have ever received. The sender has gone to great care to meticulously make sure the crock, lid and stone weights arrive safely. You need not have any concern about the shipping process. The 10L crock is the perfect size. It’s not too big or heavy. I’m pleased with the quality of the glaze, size of the side handles and lid. The comment that others have made about the small knob/handle on the top of the lid is accurate. Just be careful when removing the lid and it will be fine. Now I can’t wait to get started making some delicious sauerkraut, dill pickles and other tasty and healthy treats. My German parents would be proud to see me making this wonderful fermented food.

Great crock
Purchased this crock with some apprehension after reading the reviews. When it finally came in I was more than pleased with the quality. The outside of the crock has a very well done even and smooth glaze. The inside of the crock, on the sides, is also coated in a very even and smooth glaze. The outside bottom of the crock is slightly (1/8 inch) inset. This gives the bottom a small round edge which makes it sit easy, and though not necessarily important, it looks nice. The inside bottom of the crock has a very slight uneven surface, but it does not appear to be thin in any spot that would give me cause to worry. The glaze on the inside bottom appears to be even. It does have a slight “sandy” texture to it, but not enough that it feels course and rough when sliding the fingers and hand over its surface. The lid fits perfect, and does not wobble in the least. The bottom of the water channel, and the outside and inside rims are all even and smooth.Again, this was a worthwhile purchase. I would recommend this crock to anyone.

Absolute unit
Just want to say this is very well made, and heavy! And large! It’s perfect for the batch of pickles currently in there. Small complain is the lid isn’t the exact same color as the crock but I’ll get used to that. Packed perfect. You will have this for the rest of your life as long as you dint drop it! Was kinda a B to wash because there is a lip inside but that makes it more awesome. You can’t go wrong with this.

Great product!
First off the packaging was way beyond great. The Crockpot itself is well built, looks very nice and is easy to use. My first batch of Sauerkraut turned out delicious. The Crock is a little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. I would definitely buy again.

I will say that the crock itself is very good quality and appealed to me because it was made ...
First of all, this crock is HUGE! It was actually too big for my family so I ended up returning it for that reason and also due to a glazing issue/problem. I will say that the crock itself is very good quality and appealed to me because it was made in Germany and also because it used safe glazing ingredients (some crocks surprisingly do not). One thing that surprised me though was that I was expecting a Terra Cotta/reddish colored crock as shown in the photo and the crock showed up dark brown. Not a huge deal at all, but maybe worth mentioning. Like I said, I did end up having to return it but K&K has other great reviews and I was sad to do so. I may purchase from them again in the future.

HUGE! And perfect for fermenting large quantities of sauerkraut
Arrived quickly, packaged excellently with no damage whatsoever. Came with a recipe book and instructions to get started fermenting. Fermented foods help in preventing COVID from becoming a devastating disease, helps the body fight off the disease. Very pleased with the purchase and the seller. I recommend both.

Arrived quickly and in perfect condition, over wrapped if anything
Arrived quickly and in perfect condition, over wrapped if anything. Beautifully made and ingenious in design to keep water in the top groove to prevent any air to enter. They could have spent a bit more time making the stone inserts, but they hold the mixture down well. I also thought the knob on the lid top a bit skimpy and hard to grab, especially with wet fingers! I made a rope handle around it securely, and this made lifting lid and inspecting pot a lot easier. Pricy yes, worth it also yes. Hope my first batch turns out good, I am sure it will ~~~cabbage, garlic, turnips and carrots simmering away~~~~SAUERKRAUT ROCKS!!~~~~

Did not meet expectation for finished product quality.
Nice product although there is a shrinkage crack/tear in the top trough. Does not leak currently however it will likely fail over time.

Very quick delivery! Parcel arrived a week earlier than expected. The Keramik Crock Pot looks amazing. The only thing is that the opening could be a little bit bigger but other than said I am very satisfied !! :)

Well made and big enough
We use this for making sauerkraut. The stones are heavy enough to do the job and the opening is big enough to get your hand in to punch down on the cabbage. While it is pottery, it is sturdy and heavy.

Excellent Fermenter!
It's beautiful and works scent free on my kitchen counter 24/7 making mostly white or red kimchi these days, lol. In the fall it will be packed with cabbage for sauerkraut. My sister immediately bought one after tasting my white kimchi

Lightweight pot
I have another set of K&K crocks that we love. This one is very light and thin compared to the other ones we have. This might be fine if you are looking for a lightweight pot. I am concerned it won't last long.
