Sleek design and FAST wireless charging! A MUST HAVE!
Ill be honest, looking at the pictures online I wasn't too sure if I would like the design but I wanted something different than my current wireless chargers that would suit my living room. And now that I have it...IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE!STARTING OFF WITH THE PACKAGING:The package is a unique and very presentable design. Featuring a black cardboard box it opens like a book to reveal a window showing the wireless charger in all is glory. Almost like it is an award/medal of some sort! Very nice!Upon opening the top flaps you pull out a plastic interior which holds the charger, instruction booklet, USB C cable (about 1m in length) and a little DesertWest calling card giving you details of their customer service team should you happen to run into any problems. A nice little touch as it all follows the black and gold colour scheme of the charger throughout the packaging as well as showing confidence from the supplier that you will be happy with their product. But just in case you are not - they are there to help!IMPORTANT DETAILS/SPECS:- First of all it should be mentioned that this comes with a lifetime warranty which once again is not just great for peace of mind but also fills me with a lot of confidence about this product! Which so far is excellent!- Although it states that it can charge up to a incredible 15W power supply, I only have an IPhone so the maximum I could get was 7.5W. (Highest you can reach with Apple products).It has an auto cut-off feature once your phone is fully charged as well as over heating and short circuiting protection!You CAN charge your phone without removing your case. (maximum 6mm thickness of case although 4mm is recommended). 6mm however already beats my current chargers which only do up to 4mm. Bonus!!THE REVIEW:First of all - I love the design. Feels very solid and looks very cool and sleek! Its main colour is black with a gold coloured circle near the edge which is very pleasing to the eye! It is nice and light in terms of weight (138g) but also feels very robust too! I haven't thrown it to the floor yet to test it out (and i wont either for that matter) but I feel confident it would withstand the odd knock off the table! But even if you do work or place it in an environment with lots of slippery surfaces, underneath is a nice and thin rubber ring to stop it easily sliding off! Cool!The power cable that comes supplied is USB C and about 1m in length (maybe a bit longer) which is long enough for myself however I always feel their is never enough cable with any device that I have bought! But thats just me! 1m is good though!I connected it to my iPhone plug and i recommend that anyone who does plan to use this (or any wireless charger) to make sure that the plug they are using is QC 2.0 or QC 3.0 compatible! Most modern usb plugs are but for the fastest charge I recommend to try and get QC 3.0!Once I placed my Iphone 8plus with its silicone case still attached, the charger recognised it almost instantly. But the best thing however was how cool the charger looked once it began to do its work. IT GIVES OFF A BEAUTIFUL BLUE HUE LIGHT! Honestly i know its just a light but it really does look very nice which finishes of the overall design to absolute perfection! (Ive tried to show it in the pictures but they dont do it justice)! The light isnt too bright either so if you plan to use this next to your bed, it wont keep you awake!On my first couple of charges it felt like it went very fast. There was also no build up in heat either which I have discovered with my other wireless chargers. It does get slightly warm however but it is not an alarming heat or anything to worry about which is great once again for peace of mind!As for the speed of the charge, on my iPhone 8plus it takes approx 2hrs 40mins - 3hrs to fully charge from completely dead to 100%. Which is fast for wireless charging! Although not tested I imagine it would be even quicker on a Samsung phone as that can do up to 15w depending on your phone model.I always place my phone directly on the centre of the charger and cant imagine why some people dont however it still works even if it is not directly on the centre. (As you can see in my last picture the phone is not on the centre and has been moved to the right of the charging pad in order to try and photograph the epic blue light...and it is still charging!)SUMMARY:Overall this is a beautiful looking, fast charging wireless pad and for the price you can get this for I would highly recommend it. It works very well, looks fantastic and with the unique packaging - it really is perfect!Although I do have more than one wireless charger I can imagine Ill be using this one a lot more because for some reason, and I cant explain it, but i feel a lot more confident in this pad as well as even happier with how cool it looks!Top marks DesertWest!DEFINITELY WORTH A MENTION:The packaging is printed with soy ink and made from environmentally friendly materials to minimise the impact to the environment!!!! AWESOME!

Quality product with fantastic design

I got this for my bed side unitPlugged straight into usb socket on the wall-Supports fast charging-Feels weighty and like a quality product-Blue lighting when on charge (no lights when on standby)Really happy with it, wouldn’t pay for Belkin when this does the job !! 5*

A nice looking well presented easy to use FAST wireless charger
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This charger comes in a really nice display case and as well as being the perfect choice for your own wireless charging needs it will make a perfect gift. If like mine your phone supports fast charging then when plugged into a USB 3 port or a fast charge USB plug this charger can charge your device a 3 time the speed of a basic wireless charger. With modern smart phones equipped with up to 5000 mAH batteries this makes quite a difference to charge times.I think I ma going to take this in to work for the occasions when I need a fast charge there.

Really great, gorgeous wireless charging pad
Really gorgeous design, fits in the palm of your hand. Great packaging, lifetime warranty too apparently, which is great if any issues arise.Lovely blue hue displays while your iPhone or other phone is charging. simple to set up, it looks absolutely gorgeous and stylish.I can't give durability 5 stars, because I'm charging my iPhone using the pad for the first time , but it seems promising, great price, looks beautiful, working very well so far.Well pleased with my choice to go for this wireless charging pad.I give it 9/10 so far, I don't see any issues arising with it, but you do have the lifetime warranty as a nice peace of mind if something does happen, but it'll most likely be fine for a great while.

Works with pixel 4 but not uag cases
Worked great with my pixel 4 and a basic speigen rugged case. I don't think it charged at 15w when using Google's 18w cable. It was half the speed of plugged in charge so I'm assuming it was operating at 7w. However, when my UAG Monarch case arrived (supposedly wireless compatible) it can no longer charge the phone. I think the case is too thick. Nice little charger works well and has the correct standards for charging new phones but won't charge through an expensive armored case.

Exceeded my expectation !
I was thinking quiet a long time to get one of wireless charger or not. As my colleagues told me that they don't charge well. I decide to give a go. And chose this fast wireless charger for my phone. Surprisingly I didn't expect as its going to be as good. I even experimented the charging time. So my result were 1% in every 2 min . So in 20 min it will charge about 10-12ish % of battery. For me that's enough. I always put it on it while I am not using my phone. Good connection too, even with a wallet phone case.

No metal parts on casing. Charger will recognise this and automatically shut of.
Everything is just great about this charger, and I’m really impressed with how it works. Wasn’t sure about my protection case I have on as it is thick, but, no problem, and charges very fast. Maybe buy another for bedroom. Good, reliable seller. Reckomend.

Does the job
The charger does the job. It looks expensive and stylish. There’s no reason to pay much more for the apple one. Charges the phone with case on but only if the case is not too thick. Good value for money
