I'll let you in on a money saving tip for 1" net cups
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. If you take a 1.5" rockwood cube and cut it into four pieces, you can reduce your rockwool consumption cost (as compared to using a 2 inch net cup). A 1/4 piece of a 1.5" rockwool cube fits very nicely into these Cz 1 inch net pots. You will need to poke a hole in the top of the rockwool for the seed, but that takes all of 3 seconds to accomplish. Instead of paying for one sheet of 98 rockwool cubes to grow 98 heads of lettuce in 2 inch net pots, I can grow 392 heads of lettuce with the same sheet of rockwool in 1 inch net pots. Money saved and resources not wasted. I own 3 packs of these and I find absolutely no fault with this product.I hope this information proves useful to you... you're welcome :-)

Can fit in bottles with a little work
These are heavy duty little net pots. I want to use them to grow herbs in old recycled 2L pop bottles. They don't quite fit though, until you dip the mouth of the bottle in boiling water for 10 seconds, the cram in the net pot, and bada boom perfect fit!

Excellent Small Net Cup
A 1" hole saw makes the right size hole for the CZ 1" net pots. Perfect engineering!Good quality plastic and engineering. When growing smaller vegetables and herbs, I found that most of the time my net pots were a waste of materials, needing pellets to support the grow medium. This smaller size is just right for DIY lettuce and smaller pepper plants in deep water culture.I'm going to use these cups for my next float, and also ebb and flow systems.

Very happy with these
These were the only option I saw for this size net pot, and I wasn't expecting much in the way of quality, and frankly I thought they were a little pricey. I was very wrong. These aren't single-use items like I've bought in gardening stores before. They're sturdy reusable gardening equipment I expect will last longer than anything else in my garden. I'd love to say I'd buy again, but with a pack of 100 and the quality and thickness of the plastic, I'm sure I'll never need to. I'd highly recommend these for any small, soft-rooted plant.
