Samsung Galaxy Watch R800 Bluetooth Version 46mm, Silver

I like this watch a lot. Its functionality and ease of use are excellent. I've been using an Apple watch for 3 years, albeit a version 1, but the Samsung is less glitchy. Actually the apps are better in my opinion. Availability and variety of watch faces also seems better. The battery life is about 3 days for me, but much better than my Apple which was 1 days if you're lucky. Wait a minute it's also cheaper than the Apple!

Really like this watch! I have been contemplating buying a smart watch for a few years and finally purchased this one. I have a OnePlus 5T phone and the Samsung Galaxy works seamlessly with it. I haven't used the sleep monitoring function because I charge the watch overnight. The battery is at about 80-85% after a days use so in theory should last at least 3 days without any charging. Had to open a new current account to use Samsung Pay as not all UK banks are supported.Find the screen very clear for reading texts, whatsApp and emails. I have used the watch to take phone calls and the speaker and microphone have been sufficient for the task - very useful when out trekking and the phone is safely in your rucksack.Overall very pleased and I actually feel it's great value to have a superb looking watch (changed to metal strap) with all the smart features for less than £300

I have been using my Samsung Galaxy watch for the last week now. I have read a number of the reviews on here, good and bad. I have to say that I am really pleased with the watch and I have no issues at all - all features work well and mine is linked to my Samsung Galaxy S9+ (I purchased mine through Amazon Marketplace @ £249). I won't revisit any of the really good feedback from other buyers already left on here but I will elaborate on one negative point that I read. One buyer mentioned that it was a United Arab Emirates model and that it wouldn't work with Samsung Pay and they were returning it. When I went to configure Samsung Pay for use the first option is "United Arab Emirates" (confirming that is where the watch is from); if you click OK and then continue to set up your payment cards as normal (I added my 2 HSBC account debt cards), you will get confirmation from your Bank when completed as expected. I have used my watch several times for contactless payment, selecting which card I want to use on my watch before making payment and all works brilliantly. The fact that the model is made for release in UAE appears to have no bearing on the functionality. What I have found is that it is certain banks or credit card companies that are not set up for Samsung Pay - I realised this when I tried to add my Virgin Mastercard. OVERALL - No regrets and really pleased with the purchase.

After a few days use it's been brilliant.++If you're a fitness fanatic like me then theres lots of helpful little additions on here to add to your fitness routine++If you're looking to make phone use a little easier then this is also the watch for you.++If you are looking for long battery life then this is the best watch on the market as of 2019.++ incredibly easy and satisfying to use and has all the essentials for a smartwatch that you need even though it lacks a bit of the glitz of an apple operating system--bad points include only spotify and samsung music use-- Misssing apps such as google maps which have replacements but are not as slick--no support for American Express (if you use it)-- Operating system not as sleek as Apples

I had a Gear 3 Classic which I loved, I upgraded to this do to it's better battery life (it wasn't a real issue on the 3) and the water proofing.4 months in and I love this watch, yes there are 1000's of watch faces, I get E-mail notifications, Text messages, Weather updates etc and that is what I like, yes you get these things on your phone but the ease of seeing them on your watch is a plus.The OS is really easy to use by turning the bezel and it's easy to configure.So far 4 days are a regular thing battery wise but that's dependent on how you use it.Calls can be sent or received and sound clear... for example I was basically at the BT edge (before the watch disconnected from the phone) and a call came in and the caller stated the sound was like from a phone.

Samsung pay wont work in the UK. It is sealed but when you try to set up Samsung pay it says United Arab Emirates. After a long argumemt with amazon prime customer services and being passed to 3 different operators i final got a told i will be refunded once they receive the watch back. I was told to take it up with samsung customer services at first. Just pay a bit more and but a uk version, even if you wont use the Samsung pay it may hurt the resale value if you decide to buy an upgrade. Also i shod add it will not be covered by Samsung UK warranty so if you have any issues you can NOT take it anywhere in the UK for warranty work doing.

Mine was a Portuguese model. Which meant Samsung Pay didn't work on it and that was a critical feature for me so returned. Item refunded quickly once returned. Otherwise an excellent watch with great battery life and easy to use. If Samsung Pay isn't important to you, and it's much cheaper than the UK model then with getting it. You also get the Samsung warranty as it's from the EU... For now!
