Works as expected easy to use
I have a 14’ kayak and wanted to get it off the ground. This worked great. Now my kayak is out of the way. Straps are easy to use and hold the weight

these worked well for hanging my 10 ft kayak up. i have used the pulley storage as well and these are far simpler. The pulley system is alot more complicated to install and leaves an obstacle to bang your head on if you have low ceilings.

Good quality straps
These hook straps work well for holding any large objects on a wall, or from a winch system - not just canoes, but car roof boxes, eskies and other items. Make sure you loop the straps through the latches properly or they won’t hold weight

Snap broke on 1 but not the other
I got two of these to hang two different kayaks. Easy to install, find a drill bit then just screw ends in and snap. I did run into a problem with first one. I had the kayak up and wanted to put paddle up. The one piece of the clip snapped :( I was disappointed. I then hung the second one and no issues but I did not put paddle on that one. They both are hanging but the one is not so secure. So I would suggest put paddle in first
