Now that I'm a grandma I'm always looking for a better way to baby-proof inside and outside. We have Tiki torches around the pool and gazebo but now that we have a toddler running around, I wanted to find a way to light up the area but not lose the ambiance from the torches. First stop was Amazon (of course) and I'm so excited about this find!The first picture is what was included in the box. You get two solar torches with adjustable stainless steel (😱) poles, connectors, and ground spikes. The second picture shows the solar panel on top of the lantern. It's flat so you really don't pay attention to it, but it's busy during the day collecting sunshine and converting it into battery power that lasts all night long.The third and fourth pictures show the quality of the stainless steel poles. Nice coating on the outside will match any decor and the plastic connectors only push in so far do you don't have to worry about losing a connector inside the pole. You adjust the height of the torch poles by how many sections you use. It gives great versatility in lighting sidewalks, pathways, or patios.The fifth picture shows the on/off switch. When the torch is switched on, it uses a dusk-to-dawn feature and automatically shuts off and begins to recharge when the sun comes up. If you'd rather not let them run all night it's simple to turn them off.The sixth picture shows the torch just coming on at dusk and you can see how far the torch lights up the surrounding area. It's a nice realistic flickering light and not harsh. And I still have ambiance!If you watch the video you'll see the comparison between the solar torches and a Tiki torch. It's supposed to be Spring here but we had 18" of snow the week I ordered these and rain every day since. Speaking of snow, can you imagine how beautiful these would be lighting up your sidewalks during the winter? These torches can take all kinds of weather and still look gorgeous!So let's talk about cost. If you have to buy torch fuel, 100 ounces are going to cost between $10-20. It will fill two torches about four times. If you light the torches four times a week Spring through Fall you are literally burning at least a couple of hundred dollars for a season. The solar panels on the torches have a life span of over 5 years! You do the math and tell me what the more economical way is. Plus, you don't have to worry about too much wind, smoking torches, soot, or a safety factor of catching something on fire. I guess you can tell how much I really like these solar torch lights. I think you will too!

These are amazing! They look so real around my pool area. They are not so bright as normal lights, which I understand, given the solar nature. They are just bright and flicker like real torches. Sturdy as well. Most people can't even tell that they are not real fire. It will be a good idea buy a set of this solar torch lights a gift for family or friends.

These lights are awesome. They're bright and look like flames when viewed from a distance. Where we have them they get a lot of sunlight which then allow them to stay lit for a very long time; hours and hours. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to have longer stakes for in the ground. However, that doesn't take away from the quality of the light itself. Very pleased.

New review: If we could give a rating solely for customer service we would give 5 stars; the product itself only 3 stars at this time and here is why: You were very prompt when we shared our disappointment with the lights and offered to send us two new inserts for the solar lights. Once received we installed them and waited for them to charge fully the next day (both in very direct sunlight). The first couple of days it appeared that the new inserts were a complete success and we were very happy. While these lights are very nice and look great on at night; we still have one that does come on but don't last very long at all. One of them lasts all night and into the early morning (usually still on when we get up) and the other is off before we go to bed at night.Original review: Was optimistic when purchasing these for our pool area however was soon disappointed. Love that they were taller than most solar lights we had looked at and thought they were attractive for where we were going to have them. Once received we placed them outside under full sun and gave them a good charge before turning them on; once on they looked amazing for about a day or two because that is how long they lasted. We even tried replacing the battery in one of them and that still did not solve the problem. Sadly don't waste your money.

Looks like real flame. Neighbors thought I left them burning. Called me to make sure I knew the flames were still on. Fooled them and will fool you. Spikes are under designed but vendor replaced quickly with only on ask. Auto on/off. On every night since I bought them with solar recharge during the day.

These torches lights are in very good quality. They’re made of metal instead of cheap plastic. Very easy to assemble. The lights can be adjusted into three different heights. I set them to the second height and they are a bit higher than my waist. They look straight and stable.

We are so happy with this that we are considering buying more, even with the price- because they are worth it. We have these against our back wood pricy picket fence and it casts a beautiful glow - not too bright but looks like real fire. This is ideal for the hot tub outside and the ambience we want with plants. We could not love these more- even if they sang and danced! They are perfect the way they are. They are tall, seem sturdy, and a good quality being metal. We have now used ours for a month and just love it. They never dim, not even if rained on, and go all night and then turn off. Just magical how good they look.
