So, I am going to share my experience with this product. I ordered the softener, and it came in two boxes, but they arrived a week apart. Now I have done some dumb things, but this was not one of them. First of all, if you have NO mechanical ability don't do this because it will take someone with a basic understanding of plumbing to get it right. Next READ the instructions. they are complete and will get you thru this well. I replaced a softener that was put in in 1997 and worked well until it wore out. The original softener was put in with copper pipe. I recommend going to Lowes and getting shark bite fittings that are 24 in long. Don't look in plumbing for them (wasted half hour looking) let your wife ask question and then go to where they have softeners and there the fitting is. So, after the she was right trip home and getting everything week late, I started the process. Again, READ instructions. I started by turning off water and clearing lines. then removed old softener, cut copper, installed shark bite and followed directions for the install. You may need a bucket to remove the old salt and water from the old brine tank. I dumped this into new tank and could then move old tank. Again, READ instructions. This went better than expected and total time was two and a half hours but had to wait for cycle on new softener to complete (hour and a half) and we had softened water in the house again. Time will tell if this lasts like old one but for now, I saved over a thousand dollars doing this myself.

Doing a good job of filtering the water, seems cleaner and better overall and I am happy with it but the base came crooked and though we tried to straigten it out the container is slanted a little. Though that means the substraight inside isn't settled fully level it should still function just fine. Overall really happy with this, I went bigger then recommened for my home.

You do not have to be a plumber to do the install. If you can read and follow instructions it will be a snap.

This is as discribed. The quality there there. We are pleased with our purchase.

Installed with a little leak on the inlet port connection. The Oring provided was a little too big, hard to install and damaging the oring. I replaced it from Ace hardware just a little smaller 1 1/16” oring. Easy to fit and NO leaks. Softener is very efficient and water is really soft. So far it’s excellent!

It was easy to install, we didn’t need to use tech support as the instructions covered just about everything and once the water had run for a while the flavor was great.It leaves your skin feeling fresh and soft after a shower, it is a read difference you can taste and feel.

We got it in three days and it was by far the easiest water softener I have ever installed. I would recommend this unit to anyone. My brother has the same one and loves it as well. The controller simple and easy to use and took about five minutes to program.
